Thanks Stephanie for answering me back so soon. I really enjoy your tutorials, I laugh right along with you, just want to say I really love your jewelry, many thanks for sharing.
Hi Stephanie. I Continue to watch more of your videos.... I never get tired of hearing your voice and learning more stich beading. You are so humble about your talent....that is why I love to learn from you. Thank you for sharing your wonderful gift!! 😄
I made the flat spiral bracelet with 8mm antique copper metal beads with textural pattern on surface, bronze seed beads, blue opal fire polish 4mm, oxblood drops, and it looks very different I like it. Great video, so much fun.
I am getting no housework done as following all your tutorials. Stopped making jewellery about 5 years ago but now getting them all out again. Thank you for the great detail of your work.
Hi Stephanie, thanks for this great tutorial. I love the lacy look of the 15/0s on the edge of the bracelet. In the final round, I'm thinking I may try 3 beads to make picots down the edge, or even alternate 2 - 3 - 2 - 3 for even more interest. See, you're sparking my imagination!
My pleasure to share this tutorial with you💖 Love the idea of the picot down the side! Post a picture on Facebook if you like. We all love seeing everyone's masterpieces😃😀😄
So Stephanie time is sit there grinning time. :) I love watching and listening to you, and love your projects. :) Lets have more Silly Sunday - even if it is Monday evening here. ;)
Haha Thanks Dawn! Many more Silly Sunday's coming up 👀😀😜😆 Maybe it should be "Silly fill in the blank day" lol Thanks for watching and for all the great comments💐💐💐
lol i do that when i can. I'll go into a thrift store and walk out with all kinds of nifty beads. I just had to giggle to my self when you said about walking in for a dress n walking out with jewelry instead. That is so me .. Glad to see you back!! and as always " cute bracelet" easy and quick to make as a gift thank you for sharing... hugs :)
+christina Batten-Snyder Thanks Christine! I always shop for clothes and come out with some sort of beaded jewelry! So now that the seasons have changed here, I have lots of beads and very little to wear for winter lol!
Thank you so much for putting up this version too! Love it as much as the original. You are so easy to listen to and follow - so clear and well modulated. xoC
Thank you so much Stephanie!,You know I was going to make bracelets and sell them but I'm making them now for my self and for gifts and I'm not doing to bad thanks to you and I'm left handed and I'm still doing making these Thank you again Stephanie!
G'Day My Friend, Just checking up on some thing and thought that I was seeing double (just had my eyes tested and no new glasses needed but thought that they made a mistake) so I was relieved to see that you did a remake of the other video. I wont leave a comment as I have just left one on the first one. Now back to my photo shoot ... I have a special lady requesting to see some of my work....
hi stephani thank you soooo much for this bracelet tutorial i made 4 bracelet in 4 colours and i enjoyed doing this and all turned out awesome thanks dear💐
Love both the endings, beautiful and fun to make. Your tutorials are always fun to watch and very informative, lol. We make mistakes and you laugh about them, thats one of the things I love most about you. You are always lending a hand or bead to the beginner. I am really loving your projects, thank you so much and God bless you
Debbie, you are so nice 😍💛💚 Thank you so much for your lovely comments! I love all things beads and all of you who are so supportive of my channel🌷🌷🌷 Blessings right back at ya sweetie😘
I don't know what you call them in the US but we have shops where families have donated their parents/grandparents excess "stuff". There you can get great bargains in jewellery that's basically been "thrown away". Myra of New Zealand
+rebeccajns Thanks! That's what so great about RAW - make a length and embellish any way you want lol! Glad you enjoyed my musings - I was tired and silly but felt like talking to my girls (and guys) haha!
I'm almost done :) your video was very helpful thanks for making sure we see exactly what you are doing every single stitch and move it's what I need to be successful. I looove beading I THANK YOU FOR GIVING US YOUR TIME and chatting while you work because it gives me time to catch up with you lol. i usually go back and re watch but anyways thank you i can't wait to do more!!!
Is there anything you could show us to use up a bunch of 11/0 seed beads? I have a ton of blues and greens my dad gifted me his *bead box several years ago when his eyes got too bad to see the tiny beads and last year in September I quit smoking and really took up beading again and thought I knew what I was doing until I realized I needed to start all over from the very beginning... Boy oh boy I had no idea what I was getting myself into haha I LOVE IT but probably spend about as much money on beading supplies as I did for cigarettes LOL! Well at least this is way healthier ;) My hubby kids and family are so proud because I've been a smoker since I was about 12 or 13 I just turned 33 when I quit... Sorry I'm babbling now haha. Anyways the beads I have are at least twenty years old and most do not have anything but price stickers on them lol they're all in clear plastic tubes.. Do you have any (easy enough for beginners to do) ideas? Thank you again...can't really thank you enough. 😍💐💝🍃😊
Gracias por compartir tu talento pero si me hicieras el favor de ponerlo en Español te lo agradecería y en dónde comprar el material o mandarlo completo para poder hacer las maravillas que Dios te puso en tus manos gracias saludos desde México lindo
because I used older beads they wee larger so in between the beads I had to add 3 instead of 2 and then with the square stitch I would collect 3 seed beads and use the center bead to make the square stitch it looks great that's for the video
I know Carmella!!! Very frustrating. Take a break for a while and then get back to it - always works for me. Tension is very challenging. Wish I was able to help you in person ;) Don't give up sweetie!
2 questions: Why is it called a tennis bracelet? would you not show us your work space in its messy state? Then you can show the before and after pics, but I'd prefer to see the messy one!!!! Love your work.
+Anne McGinn Hi Anne! This bracelet is sort of a bead version of the Tennis Bracelet made so popular by tennis great Chris Everet! During a tennis match her bracelet of a line of diamonds broke and she asked to stop the match so she could find the diamonds! They are also called inline bracelets. My work space is my desk with a beading pad on it like the picture on Facebook. Beads are in boxes so there is nothing much to show :) But when I reorganize to a space just for beading I will put up pictures of the process!
+christina Batten-Snyder Thank you for saying that Christine! I cut down on that chatter for a while because some folks wanted just the beading and complained that I talk too much!!! The real me is chatty and goofy with some great instruction thrown in haha!!!
+Surovi Saha Thank you 🙏🌻😃 Thjs one is a good one to try or any of the How To” tutorials on that playlist. I think that most of my videos except the bezel videos are beginner friendly! I’m a message away for help and encouragement 🌸
Stephanie, love all your videos and tried to make most ,but I have trouble with thread.Ut seems that all my bracelets containing crystals end up braking.I use fireline and wildfire and the results are the same. With fireline they brake faster unfortunately. What am I doing wrong?
+Anneliz Dinica Thank you 😃🌻 Crystals are notorious for breaking thread. However, you can minimize the problem by using Swarovski or Preciosa crystals. If you are using these brands and still having problems try the Czech bicones and firepolished beads as they are less likely to cut the thread. You could ease up on your tension if you normally are a tight beader. Also, you can wax your thread with bees wax or a synthetic product to coat the thread so it doesn't scrape against the crystals edges. Let me know if any of this helps!
+Samantha Overall Hi Samantha! The tutorial for the Sparkle bracelet is on RU-vid already! The one you are watching is an alternative embellishment that a viewer had requested. Scroll through the tutorials an you will see the "Sparkle Bracelet" Tennis bracelet tutorial ;)
+Samantha Olvera Most bead websites have these beads. Try Fusion Beads, Beadaholique, ArtBeads. Your local craft store probably has them as well. Hope this helps 🙏🌻😃
Tension is a tough one Carmella so you are not alone! A couple of hints - Make sure you are matching up your needle and thread to the beads you are using. Larger beads - thicker thread and larger needle. Small beads like 15/0's use a smaller needle like a size 12 and a thinner thread. Not written in stone but a general idea. Also, if you are a beginner, use the shortest amount of thread to practice with so you can control the tension easier. Long thread can cause loose tension and knotting and makes controlling the thread difficult. As you progress you can use longer lengths of thread. Start with easier projects such as this one and practice, practice, practice! Tension comes as your skill level improves. Join me on my Facebook page as there are the best and brightest beaders there eager to help and share their experiences. Hope this helps!!!
Hi Eileen😄The pearls are 4mm and there is a complete supply list on the full bracelet tutorial. It's called Sparkle Bracelet Easy Tennis Bracelet🌷🌷🌷 This tutorial is for a different side embellishment for that bracelet💐💐💐
