chubipower only they look good on paper. The drawings are great but when they make the actual dress there isn't enough justice as this designer only makes basic and simple wedding dresses 😞 I prefer say yes to the dress dresses.

They weren’t aligned since it wasn’t the right fitting. With alterations i think it’d look better

DITTO! My face scrunched like 'yeesh, really?!?' as soon as she said that. Basically, i had to pause the video at 13 seconds in to double check that i wasnt on my own thinking than the history of this plantation needs more explaination before im on board....

@John Sargeant which is why i said that when i hear plantation, id want to hear more about its history before signing on the dotted line. Im gunnaa make an analogy here. Its not perfect, but I hope you will work with me on understanding the point that im trying to make. Scruffing my nose at the thought of slavery is no different than me scruffing my nose at incest. Both had their place in history and allowed us to build the world we live in today....however, a better understanding of culture, medicine, human nature, etc. allows me to know how wrong of a choice both are to the people involved and to society at large. Its growth. Theres nothing wrong with that. If you think thats wrong... or unfair- pls tell me why. Also, id like you to consider this: calling me an idiot or full of white guilt after a few line comment is really no different than all the others who call people "racist" or "bigots" over equally as nuanced of topics. You dont know me. If you gave me the time of day you may realize i have more value than you are giving me credit for. Lastly, while my comment was intended on speaking only about the instinct reaction felt when hearing the word plantation (without condemning her choice... only saying that id need more info before getting on board) I did immediately do some googling about the site after. While i can totally empathize that this is a good choice for her, as the location has been the site of several movies that we can assume is her type (ie the notebook)..however, the site not only had west african slaves, but they have made it a historical site to visit and learn ABOUT the issues with slavery and the work that these slaves put in to making it what it is today. Really, our concerns were not without merit. While not all plantations have a troubled history, its reasonable in my book to want to know these things before agreeing to a location.....just as id want to know if a house i was considering buying was the site of a triple homicide....ya know what i mean??
