Gina, this is so pretty! You have such talent in choosing striking color combinations! By the way, thanks so much for the mini stash bag that I won. I just had a chance to go through it, and love the beads! I never seem to win anything, so this was a welcome surprise.
Omg,my ugly 6'0s,it turn out to be not so ugly at all😅 .It had been neglected for years just because 😁.Saw the video last night and did it the next evening😊.I used purple 6'0s and light pink crystal with a rainbow 11'0s.It came out so pretty.Thank you so much.♥️
I have some half-cubic half-round 4mm metal-beads I've got from an necklace I bought at a second-hand store.. I'm in the process of coating them in floorvax. But as soon as it has dried properly I thought I would try to use them with a 3mm firepolish or 3x4mm rondelle go make this bracelet 😁
Hi Gina. What a very pretty bracelet. Thank you for this easy. I love the ideas that you come up with. You do such a fantastic job with every thing you make. You are a fabulous teacher. I am so glad when i found you. You keep me beading. Thank you so much you mean a lot to me. HAPPY EASTER. Take care.
Wow! You make It look so easy Miss Gina we (Eva Diva 8yrs old & I) love to watch your videos every time we get. Eva wants to try this. Thank you so much we love you all the way from Phoenix Arizona :-)
Thank You! I really love this simple design. I gave it a try, and completed it very quickly. Be careful to not pull thread too tight, as the crystals can cut your thread. :)
Love the design. I have better luck doing in 2 parts by first doing herringbone then adding thread to embellish. Otherwise I don't do tension right. Thanks so much. Love!
LOL, I have been doing my own nail...rebasing is a joke with my left hand! The fight hand looks so bad. Then I tried the crystal on my little finger, they are all bunched up, but they are on therefor life! I cured them and decided they looked bad but I didn’t want to destroy the entire nail, because i suck at painting the stupid things! So I left them but didn’t do the other little finger...LOL, I need my manicurist back!
Hi Gina Found another video of your elegant bracelets. I can hardly wait to make some of your bracelets. They will make great Christmas gifts. And the amount of them I want to make I will need to start now. Thank you and keep up the great work.
Since I am stuck in house I wanted to learn something new so I learned herringbone stitch. Made flat herringbone bracelet then a tubular herringbone necklace. And then I found this video. I love the herringbone stitch and I love this bracelet. Never thought about it but can't remember when I last used 6/0 beads. I used matte glass pearls instead of crystals. Didn't want it sparkily because the only place I am going is Walmart or Smith's to pick up grocery orders. Thanks for this bracelet. It is perfect.
You are very welcome, but you can wear sparkles to Walmart, I do🤪 if I didn’t, I would never be able to wear my sparkles LOL! But I am happy you found a way to modify it for your needs and taste. Enjoy your new jewelry!
I need to thank you Gina for your method of adding Fireline to a project. When I first began to get interested in making jewelry I started with seed beads but soon moved on to macrame, wire, leather, knotting, etc. The main reason I left seed beads was it took so long to add thread. Your method for adding thread has changed my life. I am having so much fun with herringbone stitch and Fireline. Thank you so much. So glad I found this video.
Bonnie Perkins I am so happy you are beading again. Extending Fireline changed my life too. I hated adding thread and it was always where I added thread that a piece would come apart and I tried many different methods of tying on. When I discovered this method on line one day, I was so happy! Anyway, I am happy you are happy😁
Ok I am going to have to make this one soon !!! I have so many I want to make I will have to make time and see what beads I have and just take time and make them !!! Thanks Gina ...I totally enjoy watching the tutorials !!!
Tyfs this fabulous beginner tutorial Gina you have inspired me to try one of my own! As a beginner It’s a blessing to feel confident that I can determine what might work well together from my stash . Please stay safe🙏
Yes, you need options as a beginner so you don’t have to spend a fortune on beads for just one project. It’s nice to have a little wiggle room. Thanks for watching and commenting
GIRL !!! YOU HAD ME ALL ON THE FLOOR WHEN YOU SAID 'JUST MESSED UP MY GLUE ' YOUR VOICE CHANGED SO FAR YOU ARE IN THE G.O.A.T. FOR THE VOICE CHANGERS YA ! GGC'S YOU GO GIRL ! OH ! WAY TO 'AWESOME IN THE TEACHING/NEW LOOKS/TUTORIAL IS IN THERE TO BLESS GOD FOR [ ALL THAT] GIFTS AND SOME... YOU GO GIRL OH ! THE 6/0 "S GOOD STUFF YOU MADE SOME THING BIG ! NICE & NEET !
Maxine Ross LOL, I am happy you like this one , I keep my voice pretty normal on the videos most of the time, in real life, it’s really expressive...nice way of saying, I am totally insane🤪 Glad you like this one!
You can get them on Amazon, Beebeecraft.com. Or. Chinesecrystalbeads.com ...you can just do a search on the web and find them easily. I purchased these at a local bead show.
@@GGCBeginningbeaders I felt it was confusing and I was unsure of where I was placing my needle. It was difficult to see and figure out what you were trying to explain. I am not at all trying to be hurtful. I am a beginner and I am finding this very difficult. I would love to make this but I am having difficulty with some of your videos. I adore your beautiful work. I have been able to do some other beginners videos. Maybe your is intermediate beginner?
Amber Hatfield keep trying you will get it. Sometimes it helps to watch the tutorial without beading a few times to understand especially when beginning. GINA is such a good teacher.
@@marychesshir2082 I have. I would never leave a comment like that without. I have given countless positive feedback comments in the past. Thanks for the encouragemen. I was not meaning in any way to be demeaning. I am a beginner.
The possibilities with this one are endless! You always leave room for your followers to use their own imaginations and beads in their stash to create something unique even though they are following a pattern. Thank you for all your lovely creations and for the great explanations on how to customize each piece! You're the best!
You are very welcome! I try to make sure there is always wiggle room for personal tastes and just for the use of beads on hand. It is not fun to sit down to bead and find that you nothing you can use. Takes all the joy away. Thanks for watching and for the very nice compliment 💕💕🐰
That way of extending the fireline was a game changer when I learned it months ago. I think I learned it from another video of yours right? The only thing I do different is that I use a thread burner to melt the tips instead of a lighter. I feel it's more precise.
Yes, it is, but my thread burner is always dead. It goes through batteries like crazy. I even try taking them out after use, but during a project, just a couple hours of leaving the batteries in and they are dead, I must have bought a dud.☹️
@@GGCBeginningbeaders Maybe you're one of those people who have a strange affect on electronics or batteries. I can't remember the last time I had to change my batteries. I use the yellow and grey one. I forget the name of it. I used to have the skinny silver and black one but that died quickly. Not the batteries. The whole thing just pooped out on me.
GGC's Beginning Beaders I bought a dud also! Got my thread burner from Joanns, worked perfect the first day, then I did take the batteries out when I wasn’t using it, put them back in and now it doesn’t work!
Mia Romeo yes, that’s how mine is. I tried it again today, completely dead. I have never really been able to use the thing, it’s like brand new, but doesn’t work. I give up on it! ☹️
On Gina, you must have read my mind. I've had 6/0's for 15 years and had no satisfactory way to use them. I'm so glad I kept them. I made this with mat silver 6/0 and 11/0 with dark sapphire 3mms rounds and it is gorgeous! Will be isolated tomorrow so will be making lots more. You're a genius! Happy Easter. Stay well.
Yay! I am so happy to hear that! I have had a stash I’d 6/0 for years too. Every now then I think of something to do with them, this one worked so well with them. Have fun, this staying at home thing is good when you have lots of beads!
@@GGCBeginningbeaders I have a stash that will last a long time! The 6/0s that I've had so long are really beautiful beads, so uniformed and not quite matte but not shiny either. For the life of me I can't remember where I bought them. I never thought I would be looking for more of them . Lol
Debby Bingham LOL, amazing how that happens. I have so many beads that happens with. I look at them for years, debate whether to get rid of them, then find a use and want more...I have learned to just keep everything.😀
