❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I love the Barbie doll from the 1950s and Ken, they are so much better than the one now. I love your show I enjoy watching your show... Thank you ❤️❤️
I love your vintage Barbie videos. My first & only Barbie doll was a brunette Bubblecut. I got her for Christmas with Midge. They came in a double black carrying case. I had very few of the store bought Barbie clothes. Most of mine were made by my mom. She would often make a Barbie dress with the left over fabric from a dress she made for me. Later I received an Alan, Skipper & tutti dolls. I am very partial to a brunette Bubblecut Barbie.
@@JazzHands no, I wish I did. My mom decided one day while I was at school that I was too old to play with Barbie's. We were moving at the time as well. So she got rid of them. I was so sad but there was nothing I could do. I loved my Barbie so much. I think that's one of the things that prompted me to start collecting Barbie. I didn't start again until around 2016. When I first started, I didn't realize that I could still purchase vintage Barbies. So my first purchases were of the newer Barbies and then on to collect some Integrity dolls. But when I found that I could buy vintage Barbie's on ebay, I have since bought some. Anyway, I really love your videos. And I love your brunette Bubblecut Barbie!!
I'm sure you've probably answered this question (well, questions...it's kind of a two-parter) but (a) how did you get started with this, and (b) where did you acquire that gorgeous booklet of Barbie outfits? When I was a little girl, I had a Barbie for a short time (I remember getting her for Christmas when I was 6) but I sure never knew about all the clothes....!!
I’ve always liked vintage styles and Barbie is a fairly easy way to get a hold of genuine articles of it….and enjoy them too. The booklets are either genuine ones I’ve managed to get when people sold them on eBay with an outfit, or more likely it’s a reproduction booklet that mattel reproduced. They sure are great aren’t they? The original illustrations just ooze style.
Your vintage bubble cut is very beautiful, lucky you. The Sparkling Pretty Giftset is really adorable but that coat, is beautiful. One fashion that I think you will really like is a Silkstone called, “Midnight Mischief” it has all that glamour of the late 50’s-early 60’s. If you can get your hands on a Sophisticated Lady, now she is the belle of the ball. Thank you very much for the video.
