Either the front landing wheels had a tire blow out or it failed to engage at all. The pilot did good getting the plane down safely. If you want to see a good movie there is one called “Plane” which is excellent!
If a tyre blows on landing then the fire crew have no prior warning. Totally different scenario to an aircraft declaring an emergency before landing which gives the fire crews time to prepare.
Reminds me of the old joke, Pilot apologises to passengers as they disembark, little old lady fixes him with a steely gaze - " Young man, did you land, or we're we shot down?"
@@SJF15 Your right I was haisty, thank goodness all are OK 👌 Pilots are my heros and ive always been fascinated with aircrafts and had some flying lessons. I've landed many different planes in an emergency, whilst daydreaming 😂
I had a tyre blowout in my car when I had just pulled out from the kerb. I was driving quite slowly, but still ended up on the footpath opposite; luckily there were no parked cars. I can't imagine the skill needed to control an aircraft with a front wheel blowout/landing gear problem at landing speed.
Thanks to the presence of common sense of the Pilot to land the aircraft upon grass in order to land the distress aircraft safely as the front wheel brust and saved the lives of passengers on board, well done Sir.
One thing that most people if not all, haven't noticed or commented on, is the speed of the emergencies series !! As they was front side of the plane in 100sec's 👏 👏 now thats what you call a world class response 👏 👏 👏
okay I think something needs to be done about ryan air now... its getting a bit out of hand, these pilots dont receive the same training as the majority of airlines and they are frankly dangerous as f***
