Hi mate...seems like you're asking the wrong question. When I first heard this (I'm German and was born in 1964 - think this song became popular over here in '74) I am indeed impressed with Russel's voice....sure. On the other hand: how does Ron get away with becomming 3.000 years old without having to...I mean smiling at a girl or laughing about a bloody joke?? That man for sure is the last surviving nephew of Ramses III. of Egypt. A living monument without any emotions ;o)

@@theuncle321 Ron does talk, laugh, make jokes. Also, most parts of the lyrics is from Ron. If you haven't found emotions there, I'm not sure you know what emotions are. 'Good Morning', 'Likeable', 'Fletcher Honorama', 'Thank God it's not Christmas', 'BC', 'Bon Voyage', 'It Ain't 1918', 'I Want To Be Like Everybody Else', 'I'm Not', 'Those Mysteries'... This is just a start. From Hippopotamus we have 'Probably Nothing' and since May 2020, the album 'A Steady Drip Drip Drip' that brings the audience from a blend of total despair and paranoia (I'm Toast + The Existential Threat) via the light-hearted and cheerful 'Onomato Pia' to the greatfulness of a long time lasting love relation when ageing reminds about mortality. 'All That', the second in a triology where 'When I'm With You' is the first and the third isn't here yet, and I don't want to hear it, or I'll cry myself to death. 'All That' is the strongest love song ever written. Period on that. Who wants to argue on that, google the lyrics, just remember that on some sides a 'you' is missing, the line goes: "And all the fears that you would soon be gone". I love ❤️the Mael brothers. 💖💖💖💖💖
