Not really. Megalovania is just... Megalovania. This is... This was just something else entirely. Sparta Remix created it's own universe. Megalovania was just a song people liked. Full respect for Toby, but Megalovania is nothing special.
I FOUND THIS VIDEO BY FNF LITTLE MAN 2, THERE WAS SOME PERSON PUTTING REFERENCES THERE, AND THEN I SAW "this is Sparta remix" and then nostalgia burst into my mind
@@synthwavecat96 the pattern you need to follow in order to make your own sparta remix. - means blank space, 1 represents the first clip and 2 the second.
I remember when I used to listen to this song in 2009; I was 7 years old. Those years were the best years of my life. It was when I discovered the internet and RU-vid, spending my days having fun watching YTP and Sparta Remix videos. Such beautiful memories and nostalgia, I wish I could live them again :(
My point of view of Sparta Remixes: 2007: People loved the meme and Keaton Monger, the man who created the base, and TownIdiot25, who made the actual remix, had become very popular. 2008: The popularity of Sparta Remixes kept increasing. 2009: People started making their own Sparta Remixes, but most people sucked at it. 2010: Pitches and freestyles came into the picture. The fad was dead, but we were keeping it alive. 2011. Same as 2010. 2012. The percussion sounds also came in. And here's when things started to get from good to worse. 2013: This is when the .veg replacements came in and fucked everything up. 2014: It kept getting worse, as they were making RU-vid Video Editor crap. Especially the Klasky/Csupo bullshit. And here comes 20 fucking 15, the worst year of Sparta Remixes, when people kept saying that Sparta Remixes are dead, all because of the FNAF Fandom. 2016: We weren't really sure, but then joke remixes also came in, especially the base distortion, and dank memes. 2017: We're going to find out. Happy 10 years of Sparta Remixes!
@@RonnieMcNutt_Mindblowing I was gonna give you some long ahh explanation but decided it was too personal to give to internet strangers. Long story short, I had a wacky ass childhood lol.
@@CadanHartleyElliott Oh actual Rickrolls are fine, especially since the Rickroll is a classic meme too: if anything it's all the stupid/dumb, unoriginal, unfunny, & uncreative memes coming out nowdays that are rubbish (too many to name for sure: that's just how many there are).
I know it was made for a meme of a very memeic movie, but damn the instrumental part of it is really good! It has a 70-80's techno feeling that is aging very well. Who knew?
I cant belive how can such an old song be so good And also i love how u can see comments from 6 years ago but at the same time comments from a few months ago (like the megalovania one)
God, I miss the late 2000s so much! I would do ABSOLUTELY anything to relive those moments on foot. I was playing on my Wii, GameCube, Nerf guns, and going outside a lot. And I would watch a lot of these classic YTPs and these Sparta Remix videos.
Damn I remember all of these, I encounter em when I was 5 or 6 I think and now I’m 20.. it’s surprisingly how fast time flies this piece of 2000’s still holds a special place in my heart when we all go together to create something not just for views or popularity.. but for the community 💜
Matthew Miller I’m not sure, this video wound up on my suggestions a few days ago and today I just wanted to see what the comments were like. Genuinely caught me by surprise.
If I were to be honest, I wish memes were still like this. I wish we stayed in this path and RU-vid stayed in its golden age. But sadly, good things must come to an end. I know that this originally came out before I existed, and that people still make sparta remixes. But, the spartas from 2008-2013 were the best. I kinda don’t like how humor of the 2020’s is of stretching our current situation, a distorted image of something with a one word caption, or Mr. Incredible becoming nightmare fuel. But we just can’t really change things back. We can make things from this era, but we cannot really make our current era this one again.
I've been pondering this myself. My personal theory is that something terrible happened to Western mass culture right around 2014, and I'm still not entirely sure exactly what that was, when it happened and why.
To all the people from MatPat's FNaF video and the remix made by Dufixklusiv, congratulations you've just discovered internet history that's over a decade old.
Coming back and listening to this again brings back all the memories of the 2000s and early 2010s internet culture and I lowkey kind of miss it. Funny but good stuff.
