After completing my first Spartan Beast, I have now completed my FIRST Trifecta!
After doing 3 races this year it really has taught me how capable you are to doing hardcore stuff. One foot after another, one obstacle after another! My self-confidence has gone through the roof, I feel after all that I can accomplish anything. If you're thinking about challenging yourself do the SPARTAN RACES! It's worth the ride!

Might be a silly question, but I will ask any way. How do the Volunteers know which race someone did to give them the medal. Example, say there is a Super and a sprint going on at the same day. Let's say someone ran the sprint and finish it , but both medals are being given to those who ran their respective races. They could lie about it and say they ran the next level up. Or are their measures to keep people honest about it?

When you start the race they give you a wrist band with some numbers on it, they also give you like a head bandana with your spartan number on it, those numbers are used to determine how long it took you to finish and for all the pictures that they take during the race. I dont think you would be able to lie about which race you completed, its all in their system.

@@CRF250R1521 Thanks for your response. I asked because I saw a video of a guy who ran a Super and the volunteer was going to give him a red medal, but told him he ran the Super (Blue), which he did. It just came across to me that someone could do that but in reverse.
