My biggest question.... Can you pair two of the X600 speakers to get an even more "theatrical" sound experience ? ... Btw, I think the Tronsmart speaker from your newere review looks like a copy of the Soundcore Boom
I have just bought this speaker. IT IS TRUE IN WHAT YOU PUT ACROSS IN THIS VIDEO. The 'Spatial' mode does sound like 'Stereo Wide'. Your review of the speakers sound using the binaural set up brings across through the audio pick up exactly as you describe. This speaker sounds amazing. A work of art regarding the workmanship of the metal housing. It gives a whole new listening experience. So glad i bought it. Thank you for your review. There is just so much to discover about this fantastic speaker.
@@alanrossreviews What about eq on the x600? Supposedly almost fully parametric from what I've seen so it should be possible to bring it to a really high level... Hardware is definitely there just that the tuning and processing is off
@@lukabosnjak3829 biggest issue for me is bass distortion meaning its all about reducing mids and highs relative to bass. Its not worth it to me since there is no deep bass to be had on my unit anyway. Im not big on these upper bass boosted speakers. Maybe i have a bad unit but mine is awful in bass distortion and im hearing these sponsored videos constantly repeating the line it has zero distortion.
OMG! This is the best speaker review ever! Amazing what you all did to show us the possibilities of this speaker. You convinced us. My wife already complained about the cables of the surround sound system in the living room. We ordered an X600 and threw out the surround sound system. What a change! Now I can jump in the swimming pool with our favorite movie music, imagine throwing the surround speakers and the subwoofer in the pool? The biggest change is that cleaning is now so much easier. Happy wife - happy life! I didn't realize you can also use them as studio monitors. How wonderful that you showed that option by playing your piano. We currently have these yamaha paper cone studio monitor speakers but we may well replace them with a 2nd x600. Again, imagine we can get rid of all these thick xlr and power cables. In the past I was probably too busy with watching all these tech reviews, full of difficult graphs. But why should I? Way better to follow the people that say upfront what is good and what is bad! I love your style son, no need to go through a lengthy analysis, just say what we customers have to hear and what we have to buy (happy channel, happy reviewer).
I’ve watched a lot of videos on this speaker, this is by far the best demonstration of the Soundcore motion x600. Thank you so much for making this video. I paid the $1 to save $50, so when they become available to the public, I will get this wonderful speaker for $150. I can’t wait to get it. Once again, thank you for reviewing this speaker on your RU-vid channel.👍🏻👍🏻
I bought an X600 (waiting for delivery). After seeing your review, I'm super pumped about getting, and using it. Brilliant review, WAY better than the others on RU-vid, or anywhere for that matter!
Thanks for a well presented review 👌 I got mine a week ago, and after spending time on the most portable sound system out there, comparing prices and quality performance performance this sound system is far better than the most brand out there I rated it 8 of 10 😊
By far the BEST review I've seen on this speaker. I was waffling about getting one as other reviews just really didn't show it's true capabilities and didn't make it seem that much better than the Motion+ that's half the price. Now I want one!! Love the idea of being able to use it for a portable monitor for musical instruments as well.
@@alanrossreviews doesn't change the fact that this speaker has amazing clarity and best sound quality, case in point, under 50% volume. When you turn it up it sucks, it absolutely sucks shit and has zero base on high volume. Luckily for me i listen it in my bedroom below 50% all the time. You're absolutely right on the motion boom but, i think the hate on the x600 is too strong.
@@johndoe8923-k2d you are certainly entitled to your opinion as i am mine. You dont listen over 50% is something you should say upfront when defending the quality.
Superb. A good length of time when used on medium. I love mine. One of the best Bluetooth on the market today. The sound is fantastic. A whole new listening experience. Many thanks for your informative video that has influenced me to uy it. I am so glad I did.
Correction: not newly developed sound algorithms, stereo upmixng for surround systems has been around for decades. I mean sure you can make the claim that this is the soundcore in-house upmixing algorithm but lets not leave people thinking its anything more than upmixing and its new tech. Saying this sounds like a hi-end hiFi surround sound theatre speaker is subjective of course but for me total nonsense. I mean going as far as saying the equivalent will cost you 2 grand is amazing you have the balls to say that, I take my hat off for that at least. You get a bigger soundstage just pairing two motion booms or two motion pluses for less money. distortion free is of course not true, did you measure the harmonic distortion? What is your evidence for that claim? The way you compared it to the Blast that was interesting. Let me guess, you had the blast on bass mode which is a bit muddy and x600 in spatial which is overly bright if accuracy means anything to you and just wanted people to hear a clearer sound as though that was natural? It was hard to tell, were they both in aux mode for that test?
Sorry, didnt mean to be offensive. But I've listened one reviewer which has better recording to describe the spatial effect of X600. Im agree with you. This spatial is revolutionary for portable speaker.
got the X600 but returning it. Yes I was impressed by the quality and spacial audio and will be great for that and indoor home theater use but I was looking for something that can be more for loud parties and I wanted more bass. Soundcore came out with the Boom 2 and I think for that use is what I'm looking for. But for now I don't need 2 speakers of this size. Update: after some thought since both weren't that bad in price I may keep one for indoors and the other for more travel and outdoors.
I am looking for a portable ,speaker for music production that can be taken anyhere but should also have bluetooth and aux in but should beb small with big sound, I have been seaching this for 3 months or so now, I think you should do the same search and make videos about each speaker you come across that is close to being that perfect studio speaker small but might and ith deep enough bass but the speaker should be small, if you care I might the things I have found so far.
But amazing I must say that first, but hy didnt you pan the singing vocals and have each voice in a different part of the stereo spectrum, like one voice on the left another on the right, then another on the left but slightly at the back, etc because you have everything in the center and it doesnt come accross enough. And you need to explain well, ITS SOUND LIKE A 3 D as if the sound is far away from outside the speaker. ability to explain is something we all must learn. well great video, happy they added the aux in.
I´m hesitating between this new Soundcore x600 and the tribit stormbox blast. Which one would you recommed? I value detail, and clarity in music above all else. Thanks and Congrats on your Channel. Fantastic content. Already a new subscriber! ;o)
Very helpful review - thanks for testing out playing piano/guitar into it through the aux jack! Was there any noticeable or distracting latency? For those of us looking for a portable monitor/dj/or gaming solution, most portable speakers have unworkable latency through the aux but in your video it seems the x600 offers a solution... fingers crossed ;-}
I bought 2 and the fact that 1 sounds like a big audio wall sitting in front of you the music sounds like it has height but with 2 ………. My sister heard 2 and she said they sounded like the audio was going over her head and behind her when I heard 2 I felt like the music was playing all around me but the vocals were coming from a single point in front of me like a sound bubble trust me if you can buy 2 PLEASE it’s worth it and youll nerd OUT
I bought two Bose Soundlink Revolve II speakers for $200 each on Amazon…the day they arrived I set them up in Stereo mode. I thought “hmm, well they sound ok”. Then I saw a comparison video on RU-vid putting those up against the Soundcore X600. I went straight back to Amazon and bought two of those for $150 each. They arrive today and I think I dodged a big bullet. To save $100 and get a pair of speakers which are highly superior is a blessing! Thanks for this great review-you did a tremendous job explaining why it is an incredible speaker for all of us. Ignore the negative naysayers. You Rock!
@@PabloLopez-tz2zq I bought two because they can be linked together and then music is played back in Stereo. You can put the speakers apart wherever you like (I did this in the main salon cabin on our 32 foot sailboat Monarch) and enjoy this beautiful separation of the music…how it was supposed to be listened to. The sound out of just one of these is amazing…but when you have TWO of them linked…it’s absolutely twice as good, if not even better than that due to the stereo effect.
I have a Sony srs x33 that has a live mode that does similar broadening of the sound. Not as dramatic I’m sure though. P.S. I used to have the same guitar but in red. Also what piano is that ? Casio?
Thats because the x600 has an additional upwards firing driver and the woofers have an outwards firing waveguide. Long as accuracy isnt a requirement it opens up the sound obviously.
Soundcore X600 has too clear sibilant highs and too little bass/thump. A side-by-side comparison tilted the favor to the Soundcore motion boom plus for my wife, my two sons (14&16) and myself. All completely individually. We fiddled with the EQ on both to get the optimal sound signature out of both before comparison. YMMV of course. PS : I really wanted to like the Soundcore X600 over the Motion Plus because of form factor, size, material usage, high end audio and spatial. But unfortunately that just didn't happen.
Have you ever listened to a 2k audio system? I have headphones costing this much by themselves as well as amps. Shit I have two subwoofers unboxed each costing 1k and capable of 3000 watts each which is enough to make you naturally want to run out the room at 50% volume. Again, have you ever heard a $2k audio system? FYI, I have the X600 as my night stand speaker for night listening.
Got mine today and totally NOT worth the hype!!! There must be a lot reviewers in Soundcore's pockets! 🙁 Anyone with an ounce of journalistic integrity and morality would agree....This is not the best speaker of 2023. Spatial audio?....not really....there appears to be so much hype and so much over exaggeration with regards to this feature. Loud? No, One of my Minirig3' smashes the X600...I won't even talk about a minirig 2.1 set up as this is somewhat more expensive than a single X600, so not a fair comparison. Without spatial audio and bass boost on the speaker sounds so poor!😮 This is so wrong as speaker worth any credit need to sound great out the box and even better with these feature turned on. The Soundcore boffins need to get back in the lab 🧪🧫 and release a firmware update that sorts out the sound / EQ issues. That's my personal unpaid for feedback on my initial experience with the X600....Hope it helps ❤
heard a less famous reviewer say soundcore offered money to give the speaker a "great" review. and say stuff like: i never heard anything like this, this is crazy, this is the best speaker, etc.
I just got mine, and I don't know what you and the other you and the other RU-vid reviews are on about. Anker paying you? The sound is clear sure, but has no bass. My previous JBL and Sony's sounded much better. I'll be returning my X600. Would never recommend one.
$2,000? Are you out of your gourd?!? The soundcore boom sounds better! The x600 has no real deep bass and pushes the mids and highs to create this spacial sound. Its kind of gimmicky.... It's not true surround type sound!
