I can't help but think he's overrated. I watched the HBO series as a start to see if I wanted to get into the character (which I had only heard good things about.) And he just refuses to do anything but brood. He legitimately can't seem to figure out if he wants to be good or evil. It's kind of irritating. Edit: Even Godzilla Mendoza just praised it.

Oh geez, the developers made a big deal how you'd have to fly high into the son to restore your health would be a key feature but in actuality it just meant I had to keep hopping when my HP was low. _Superman: Shadows of Apokalips_ is the only good 3D Superman game since it actually is stable.

Javier Pupo glad someone isn’t bitching over the fact that a horror themed “superhero” ( really anti-hero) is actually getting a horror themed movie. It’s the same people bitching about the 97 spawn (which was admittedly a dog pile of shit and barely had anything horror related to it. The animated series was more horror based than either comic or movie. Idk maybe it’s just me but spawn’s strong suits seems to follow through the horror side of things more so than say the super hero style of story telling. No reason Todd wanted to go in a more horror direction, I mean nothing else seemed to work for him save for the animated series. Hell even the comics became more of a horror story ever since the shit pile that was the movie and the masterpiece that was the animated series. Why the fucking hell it took him this long to realize or do something about it is beyond me. Hopefully it “seems” he learned his lesson from both the movie (how to do spawn poorly) and the animated series ( how to do spawn magnificently).Idk man only time will tell with this new movie cause at the end of day for mcfarlane it is simply a make-or-break-it deal with spawn. Btw sorry for the rant

LeonBass. Todd’s a well talented artist, knows his limits, and genuinely cares for his family. However, he only clings onto Spawn rather than mentioning his other properties, such as Haunt. His execution is poor. I had trouble getting into the comics, because his debut issues focused on Spawn & the Violators’ battle. I actually got into the Tv Show first based on how great it improved based in comparison. His over exaggerated art style makes it easy to make fun of in the real world, but makes up for the amount of detail and care. And he has a mess of a reputation when it comes to legal issues. That’s what I really have when it comes to criticism. He has flaws such as any person would.

I mean after all the b.s treatment of Spawn over years I will say he that he is still passionate about the character. I mean if the guy wanted to give up on spawn he could of done after this games released. Also the guy has quite the ego going on though I guess that somewhat more common I guess from the comic industry so idk

@@masterchaos1378 I think that's mainly because in the later issues spawn sticks more with super natural and paranormal elements and ditched the sci-fi stuff it had. And quite honestly I'm glad lol. Like maybe having a super weapon like overkill is fine, but the rest just feels spotty lol.

George Baynard hey say what you want about his writing in the comics but by god it’s way better than the ‘97 movie .also the writing in the animated series is better than the way he wrote the comics so all and all to me he’s just... I dunno ... mediocre
