I'm studying in the college to be an English teacher, and when I'll become an English teacher I'll recommend them to watch your videos to practice their English listening, you're one of the best English teachers on RU-vid. (I'm from Brazil and my native language is Portuguese)
I'm a big fan of punk rock and alternative rock. Bands like The Offspring, Green Day and Foo Fighters make me feel good in any situation, either when I'm excited or under the weather. Besides that, sometimes I like to listen to hip hop songs, for which my favorite singer is 50 cent (yes, I from the 90's).
I love music that has good beats. When a song has good beat I immediately add them to my favorite list.. they always make me energetic whenever I listen to them
I love these type of videos with practice section in it. we not only learn listening English but also learn speaking in it. thank you for spending your time teaching us English.
I am a huge fan of the Beatles, and I love Dave Matthews Band, so much so that I drove over a 1000 miles to catch them in your home state. Have a great summer.
Heey, brant, how come you here, been a while since I saw you smwhere like here. You never know that teachers do fall in love with some other english channels as though it is a dagger in the heart. So as to keep the access to each other's content, you gotta create a community or network somewhat
I like many different types of music, but especially something that is upbeat and motivates you to do things like housework. At the moment, I have Camila Cabello's song 'Bam Bam' stuck in my head!
Thank You Vanessa, your lessons are very interesting. Music is very important in our life. I like classical music, because it helps me in focus and relaxing🙂🌺
My greetings and big respect to India! 🇮🇳 I've been there twice, in New Delhi and Vizag (Andhra Pradesh). Mind-blowing country, I really like your culture. I make fun English videolessons and live vlogs, and I'm also going to create travel vlogs from India 😊 Have a great day! 🙌
During the time I had covid-19, something spontaneous made me buy a guitar, i've played the guitar for around 2 months, from March until now .I'm heavily into guitar songs , so i learned how to play guitar on my own by the internet . And so far, i've also played a couple of songs , and i looked up to Taylor Swift. As long as i am alive, i will keep playing guitar
Oh Vanessa thank you so much . I'm a big fan of music and I was looking for new phrases to describe my music taste and recommend my favorite songs to people in English and this lesson will be really useful for me😍

Hi, Vanessa. Thank you so much for this tremendous lesson! I love music and I like to listen to American country songs, classic rock (e.g Wayward Son - Kansas), pop and so on. It's so catchy and I feel like having a whole immersion in the American culture. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
@@SpeakEnglishWithVanessa sorry, can I ask you a question. I am Russian native speaker and I of course learn English. Before this day I constantly said: you were(because how we are taught : I'm, he's ,she's, they're , you a). But after you video (I said in my head: .... You were...) I mean your video isn't reason, I mean the Time... So I think what if we can say not only "you were" but also "you was" That's: you were sounds like you speak more polite(formal) and you was sound less polite (informal) ?? Or I m mistaken? And this sounds absolutely incorrect?
My favorite one is classical music bcs it´s relaxing and beautiful, in addition I really enjoy rock. I play the guitar and I'd like to play like Ida Presti a French classical guitarist. Thank you so much for your video teacher Vanessa, it was great, I love music
Hello Vanessa I'm 64 years old and in my youth I liked bands like Pink Floid. Nowadays I appreciate old music songs like "Harvest moon " from Neil Young, or " think twice " from Bob Dylan. Thanks for the video, it's so refreshing!
