Romans 13:1-2 Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God, and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves.
“Those which exist are established by God,” truth is, authorities are elected by PEOPLE, not God (people driven by the power of the Spirit, don’t mistake Spirit for God). Anyone who credits God with their personal success mistakes themself for God. Avoid anybody that says THEY know what God thinks, know those as liars.
@@f.miller9522 THEY, politicians or the Speaker, say that THEY know what God wants, because it follows THEIR narrative. They don’t and we shouldn’t. They are politicians. Jesus was sentenced to die by his politically powerful enemies-that said THEY knew God’s truth. And that God put them in power, so trust God. Same thing-politicians that SAY it is God’s will, are blowing their own horn, nothing to do with God. Self-admiring because they won the popular vote. God didn’t get a vote.
