Sorry for the late reply! These pods are 6.5" in diameter. Standard automotive 6.5" speakers work great. Such as Boss brand ch6530 and Kicker brand DSC650 etc. These have plastic cones and rubber surrounds and when mounted in the pods they become Marine grade. However there are some 6.5" Marine grade speakers that are just to big. Hope this Helps! Thanks
Your not Sch40 caps, that's why you cut a section out of your rings because that's Sch40 pvc. Your caps are for 6" OD pipe & your using 6" ID pipe. Probably because the caps your using are the perfect size for the speakers & the Sch40 pvc gives you the thickness needed for the screws to mount the speakers.
Hello, you mentioned in your video different consoles you make.! I do have a question regarding the middle part between the backseat and front seat of a golf cart president... I’ve seen where there is a box to fit speakers on that middle section, do you have anything in mind to fit a 6.5 or even up to 8 inch speaker? Thanks and good video
