There is something very satisfying in that pop on the first turn of a factory installed screw... quickly followed by the terrifying realization that there's no going back now!

Did the same titanium tweeters in my Klipsch Chorus 2. Just replaced both tweeters and crossovers in my 82 La Scalas with Crites parts. Easy and fun upgrades.

I can't believe the nice job you did on refinishing those speakers . I couldn't see the damage when you got done.

Enjoy the videos and congratulations on your continued growth in viewership! I have a pair of the Quartets in my Heritage collection. Went all out with new mid diaphragm’s/ Ti tweets and a new Crites crossover. The difference in quality of crossover parts was staggering. Not cheap and probably wouldn’t recoup my investment but I never sell them anyway. Sound A/B was eye popping. Quartets are often forgotten in the Heritage line. Fine speaker. Very placement dependent in my experience with respect to the distance from wall for the passive radiator.

How you get on with the modelling clay really want to pack it in tight and put it in designated areas around the tonearm bored on around the main bearing and where the motor might be situated. Very good upgrade is to put the turntable on one whole piece of 3" cellulose foam remove the feet and put the feed on a bamboo chopping board best upgrades

Try putting a sticky back felt pad on the pole piece cavity behind the tweeter dome, to help absorb some of the rear wave of the tweeter dome.

use the tip of a sewing needle to put some fake grain lines in the plastic wood then take some of the pigment from the bottom of the stain can to touch up the repair the pigment will not all wipe away like the liquid stain will and on oak it will make the darker in spots like the real wood pretty nice old cabinets not bad for 40+ years old

Love this video. I got many tips I would have liked to see you replace the cloth on the fronts. I know there are many videos out there, but imho you could do better. I have my original pioneer hmp 40 that I gave to my son. With kids and cats the cloth needs done. Love your channel
