For the younger audience or schooling ones..... please learn Mandarin well and learn while you can. Speaking from my personal experience- I was able to be outstationed to China at a young age, rookie in the company simply because I have better command of Mandarin and can read well even though the rest of the colleagues are much more experienced, but they can't communicate with the Chinese well, beside gaining good impression of showing good attitude and work etiquette lah (the experienced ones are with good profile too). Really, the one key decision to choose me because of the command of language. One more language = 1 pool of opportunities. If it's too late for you, tell your younger ones to learn well. haha. China market is big. I got A in O'level also. but when I'm in China, i'm as if at their preschool level. hahaha.
