One thing about Botswana; their borders when in comes to FOOD SECURITY, top tier!. I would love for our government to just send some of us for training that side so we can implement in our borders.. The egg crisis and influenza pandemic would disappear from our country.

As a Tswana speaking person, I’m just here to say, that is not how you use “Gotlheleele” in a sentence… I was in stitches the entire video😂😂😂Thank you guys, this was so refreshing to watch♥️

Most people can't tell the difference between Sotho-Tswana languages, However it's not that deep because they're closely related. SeTswana is a broader language amongst the 4 of them, There's like 5 ways of saying 1 word in SeTswana because of many dialects and words such as "Mamela snd Namela" are also used in Setswana depending on which dialect your speaking. What makes SeTswana difficult to speak/learn is that alot of people focus on getting the accent right, which is the least important aspect of the language, If y'all could allow yourselves to just flow it wouldn't be as difficult. Btw there's far more people who speak SeTswana in Johannesburg than Sepedi especially in Soweto (Dobsonville & Meadowlands) another thing that makes the language seem difficult is lack of representation on the media, all Soapies in SA are representing Zulu, the rest of soapies are teaching Spitori which is a mixture of Setswana and Sepedi. The River has BaTswana actors like Cobra but they're mostly speaking Spitori, Skeem Saam has done a great job teaching people Sepedi and let's respect other people's languages (19:10) I enjoyed the vlog GGs.

There are actually a lot of Tswana speaking people in joburg but we end up speaking Zulu because “that’s the norm”. Try greeting by saying “Dumelang” more often in joburg and see how often you’ll get a Tswana response.
