They can literally speak Urdu. We live in a world where if you know English then u dont know any other language cus you are so cool. I m proud that my whole family lives in USA but still can speak our mother language. Not white washed.
Its because in USA you r just another immigrant who are trying to keep to their roots while in Pakistan you are above the commoners if you can speak bad urdu and good english
I agree my son is only 10 right now n I make sure he only speaks Urdu at home I still feel bad he can't write but it's our mother tounge if a Chinese or Russian can't speak their language it's a matter of shame not pride honestly.
Exactly we should be proud of our language. Because if we dont do it no one else would. I would not expect an American to carry my culture I have to do it but meanwhile our white washed Pakistani people are so impressed by them that they forgot their roots and try to promote western culture and language.
