Just got back from the long weekend down at jervis, vis was only 3m unfortunately. This video is awesome mate, love the commentary and keen to watch more of your adventures
@@jaytee464 thanks mate! It can be hit and miss in the bay itself (more so miss) but out front is a safer bet. Appreciate the kind words. Working on next episodes!
@@jennydaneeli6037 thank you! It’s hard, as I didn’t want to bore people, but although the hunting/spearing is what pulls plus out there, it’s amazing what you get to see along the journey! 😁
Great diving! Such beautiful places out that way. Loved watching the school of fish at the end all flashing together when they turn. The turtle was a great find. Looks like you are wearing graphex gloves? How do you find them? 😊
@@j-man8681 thanks for the kind words man, some great scenery. The gloves are great, for $20 or so. Obviously no real insulation, but they take a hiding, good to grab crays and decent dexterity on the gun. I’ve got to get the next video up where they copped a hiding on a bunch of cray and abs…. Due for a change out now.
Thanks for the heads up. We chatted with a ranger about this, who indicated it was ok if they were in the boat, unloaded etc for transit only. However, after your comments, I have been googling and can see that it appears you are right! We may limit ourselves to the other launch site, although it seems silly given we hit the same water..... feels like a convoluted set of rules.
The water was great. Drummer ages well, after 24hours the ability to fillet improves dramatically, and this one aged for 5 days and was exceptional eating. I do not think it makes as much difference as it does with oily fish (like say a goat fish) but I think it is better after hanging for a few days.
