Great stuff Ollie. I always thought we had it made in NZ, with our 'green and clean ' thing. Then I started travelling to other lands and, like you, was amazed at how beautiful and lush some other less well known places are. Travel really does broaden the mind, I reckon, and makes you appreciate what you have.
I lived 50 nautical miles from Honiara in the late 1950s as a kid, great to be taken back and seeing that there are still some spots both land and sea that have not been ravaged by felling the forests. And that tropical rain: - love it - thanks man!
This is more a tourism brochure than a speargun fishing trip vid... But who knows?...Maybe, with time and dedication, when he learn enough, he would be able to show actually speargun fishing footage... I really wish him a fast learning before he make an irreversible mistake.
Ollie Love these, my Father did the same in the 70's with his best friend for a month, Palau, Truuk, Yap etc... Wonderful do another one they really make your videos 4 Dimensional, not taking anything away from NZ.
Stunning place, beautiful, quiet, peaceful...I could live this way all my life. Thank you for showing this. nowadays wild life is underrated , bit for some to hear this natural sound, a , stunning landscapes and nature this looks like paradise Regards from Spain
Yeeww, what a beautiful place bro!!! And that shot on the doggie was on point, fish said who turned off the lights 😂 congrats on landing 2 of those beasts and best of all the one on your last dive had to be stoked surfacing to cheers from your mates. 🤙🏼
Incredibly great evening video. Sometimes I sit here eating smoked salmon and watching these videos thinking that I’m actually there . Because it really feels like I’m actually there . And I really thank you for that .👍
Hey bru i wish i could your so so lucky your an awesome speero wow i would give up what im doing just to live wild no tech bless me bring me there with you please buddy ❤
Ollie great video as always. Can I make a suggestion/request. Maybe add a clock to the video when you are down so the viewers can find out how long you are actually under water. My wife and I would love to know how long you hold your breath for. For instance, you went to 25metres, then chilled for a minute or so then hunted. That sounds like a 5 minute hold? Cheers!
Thanks for the great videos. Here in N/W Australia we have it all. Coral trout, mangrove jack, bluebone, Wahoo, Spanish mackerel, you name it. GT’s are the best sports fish but are considered rubbish to eat. We throw all trevally back.
They don’t know they are eating very healthy food organic. I miss Philippines back home I was a diver had local friends we dive almost every day. Unfortunately 3 of them died already but one remain I visited back home last year I gave him 5 snorkel us divers coz that’s their way of finding food for survival. Love what we eat Filipino sushi. Huh nicevideo bro
what part of the Solomons did you do to? I've just came back to New Zealand 3 weeks ago and went to Ramongga for three weeks and lived with a family remotely.
Hello Ollie, greetings from the United States virgin islands in the Caribbean. Just survived Tropical storm Phillips. Good to see you in the Solomon islands.
So glad you got your first doggie, great stuff. You are very lucky you switched it off though or you could quite easily have lost your gun without a line and float. They are crazy strong, even at that size.
It's great because this beautiful island has not been developed by humans and the tribe living here is very clean with no waste causing the water here to be polluted.
I have been there as a deckhand spearing boat but didn’t spear myself. I did however, Freedive for some giant scallops there! Would love to go back one day one of my all time favourite countries
That was a red bass at the 18 minute mark, not a jack. As far as I know, unless you're in western Australia, they are one of the highest risk ciguatera species
