Hi there, thanks for sharing your adventures! I live in Torquay and started spearfishing last year. I'm trying to find some like minded people in the local area to gain a bit of knowledge from and maybe join in on a session or two? Atm i am waiting for the waters to clear a bit, i just came back from Brighton pier (31/4/17). It was really bad.....weather awfull ,visibility = 0m and very strong currents....I will let you know in advance about the coming expedition.

Hello there! thank you for the comment...best place i found atm is Chessil Beach at Portland, the visibility depends though in most of the UK. Sun or clouds, wind, currents & tides at areas of interest..Those are factors that trigger also the plankton from the sea bed to rise towards lower depths which can make things difficult... Next expeditions will head even further west...Cornwall...you are most welcomed to join. just let me know.... 😉
