I love "Spooked Guardsman", he turns up everywhere. Also, I love the contradictory nature of Chaos having Laws. And the Cone-Tzeentch I think is one of Nyarlathotep's forms, I think.

This is by far the best reaction to this episode I've ever seen. The personal connection to Yu-Gi-Oh made all the twists and turns of the duel so much more interesting.

Well since TTS is basicly Alfabusa's mains job he won't drop it. He is currently on pause but since he has a team (blessed be patreon and the power of money) It will slow down the work for sometime but he will get back to it. If TTS makes it's triumphant return with Kitten dueling I'd like Void Dragon I want the dragon to have a "modern" deck but the duel would either be way to fast with Kitten's old-school deck & VD spending at least as long as Tzeentch on his turns.
it is because of those two episodes that I somehow restarted to play Yu gi oh. . . .and oh god emperor I had such a headache learning the new cards, gimics and summoning methods . ..
I'm pretty sure Monster reborn has been limited to 1 for a long time. A quick google search while I was typing this. It has apparently been limited since September 2010.
As a Yu-Gi-Oh! player, there are so many references that I'm just out of air. Especially with Cup of Ace, it makes me think "is he subbed to Luke Von Karma?" And one of the few instances where "MST Negates". A shame you're not that versed to the modern era, otherwise I would beg you to give LVK a try, just because of how funky the community can be sometimes.

for supposedly making fun of the game, they put a ridiculous amount of effort into making the decks match the players. emps - super powerful servants, overpowered technology, DNA experimentation and GOLD Kitten - army of unassuming little beasties and spell counters so they don't fall into bullshit. Tzeentch - 59 spells, one monster, mostly if not all illegal. Magnus - he plays red/blue, as an initiated that means, fireballs, counterspells and warp fuckery(no really).
10:09 Amen, while I still maintain that, 'force you to concede, or slowly natural draw yourself out' decks are the worst, unlimited extra turn decks are a close second. Honestly, amidst all the different TGC formats, there needs to be one that just forbids any deck based on infinity.
MTG outright banned most of the cards that enabled infinite combos fairly quickly after they were released. Plus there are the infamous "Power Nine" cards that have never, ever been reprinted except as special non-play-legal releases.
@@blam320 I mean, they banned a few, but most infinite cards aren't banned and most banned cards aren't infinite; as for the power-9, there are slightly tweaked versions of all of them legal in all permanent formats, eg Temporal-Mastery is basically a one use Time-Walk, on the turn you draw it; Ancestral-Recall/Visions and there are whole decks around recurring Time-walk style cards. The infamy of the Power-9 is mostly their rarity and the fact that their low cost means you would never not run them if you could; there are much more 'powerful' cards, which makes sense, as most of the power-9 reads "tap for 1 mana".
The word Banned was used way too many times in relation to a game people think is good, for it to be any good.... Once upon a time perhaps... Still fun to talk about though
