Joey Davis literally just went 130-0 in his D2 collegiate carreer

I want to see this but with NCAA rules. Joey should just go to D1 school (if grades allow it) or at least have to chance to wrestle in the NCAA D1 tourney next year.

This is a close match if it’s NCAA rules.

I used to attend the Cliff Keen Las Vegas tournament in the late 90's and early 2000's and the tournament invited top Div. II, Div. III and JCs. I'd love to see the winners of II and III get invited to the big show.

Do wrestlers watch film on other wrestlers to prepare? It makes sense, but I never heard of it being done. The most knowledge I got of an opponent was super vague. Such as "he wrestles the edge of the mat", "Dont choose down", "He likes to throw" etc

Looks like Deiringer gave up some size and still handled him without much problem.

Davis nearly got teched 9-0. Wow

And that my friends is the difference in D1 and D2. Davis is just another average D1 wrestler.

Davis showed absolutely no skill in this match. I’m not sure why he even accepted this match. He had no interest in wrestling.
