Today is a normal day on the farm with the way of seeding apart from we had to replace a bolt that broke in the auger!! But today we have a special delivery on farm and it needs a name!! get busy in the comments!!
About halfway through our program I just spent 2 days doing 250ha I never knew lentil stubble could cause such a headache man was I glad to fold up and move this morning
Was so hoping you might have got a Fendt 1167 for the replacement for Art, oh well case it is. Think you should call your new little case ‘Justin’ because you got it just in case you needed another tractor. Love the idea of having a breakdown book think I might suggest it to my bosses, so we are better prepared. Keep up the awesome work.
That broken sheer bolt maybe needs to be 5mm or so longer. It has cracked through the threaded section which is significantly weaker than the shank. The thread should not be carrying the shear load. Some washers may need to be behind the nut if needed as packing. Loving the videos. Keep up the good work.
JH, first, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to take us with you on your busy days. As a former farmer from Eastern Canada, it is nice to see the challenges that farmers face on the other side of the world and how they are overcome to provide food for the increasingly thankless masses. We were forced out of farming due to increasing costs and decreasing returns 15 years ago. I now work as a parts technician at a John Deere dealership, so I have to say I'm disappointed at the move from green to red but certainly understand that in farming, you need to adapt and change as needs arise. Please continue to share your content with us and all the best this season and many more to come.
Absolutely magic John, you should be an agent for agrifac, what a beauty, making notes and having a history of your annual business is worth it's weight in gold. I spent 4 years running a custom harvesting operation in America running through 7 states. Having what I knew I needed every year on my pickup or service trailer and or ordered at our local dealers in various States was something my bosses had never seen before. Please try to change to the belt on your bourgout. Auger are a nightmare. Sorry you have a case. To name your new case,, shitbox.. lol,. I will say now from experience you better learn to deal with hood up down time changing to caseih. Enjoyed watching your channel. Will not when you go red as i cannot watch people rowing boats backwards. Good to see someone who knows their business. Keep up the great work mate from New Zealand.
Mate For the notes on your phone for the breakdown’s use dictation so you just say the words and the phone will write it for you. To use it just go to start typing and get the keyboard on the screen and at the bottom left or right of the keyboard there will be a microphone looking thing and press and start talking and getting your notes down way quicker
Hey john, just noticed in your drone footage that left hand side of the boom has more flex at the outer section than the right… maybe the cause of the broken height sensor bracket the other day causing the boom to vibrate differently than the rest of the boom… just a thought
Yer we will be putting a gen 4 screen in the new row track, and then do the hydraulics through the case screen and the bin and bar will be controlled through the x35 screen. Screens everywhere!!!
Hey mate I know a bit about farming when u get you quad track are you going to run greenstar or Trimble dad and I ran greenstar in all of our case tratters
For your gas-strut, or your next one: put the rod side inside a thin plastic bread bag or similar. ziptie to the cylinder tube and the rod-eye, and no residue will stick to the piston rod, ruining your seals.
