This special ED was such a love letter to Bleach fans. Thank you to everyone who worked on it.

This is perhaps the perfect love letter by Kubo and the anime staff to all the devoted fans who stuck around through all those rough times. What a flush of tearful nostalgia this was!

Watching this at the end of the first episode was like seeing an old friend again after a long time. Welcome back Bleach.

I don't think anyone besides Bleach fans will ever understand how much this return means to so many of us. The old-school Toonami/midnight run/adult swim kids whose parents could only afford basic cable so Cartoon Network was our go-to. Bleach helped so many of us during adolescence. This is such a beautiful tribute and gift to fans. I don't know if Kubo meant for some of us to shed a tear or two watching this, but I'll tell you right now, the nostalgia made me bawl my eyes out when this ending wrapped. Thank you to Tite, Shonen and Studio Pierrot for blessing us with this masterpiece.

This was so beautiful, Kubo said thank you for waiting. He's gone through so much and what they put him through and he still chose to come back and deliver such a masterpiece. This is insane.

Studio Pierrot can't keep getting away with this! First they hit me with a metric ton of nostalgia celebrating 20 years of Naruto by throwing every iconic moment at me. And now Bleach does this!

Bleach was my coping mechanism for a horrendous home life as a child. Seeing these clips as an adult now, in a much better situation, was the closure little me needed. Thank you, truly, Kubo and the staff

I’ve never watched bleach at the time and I only started binging all the eps before the tybw cour 1 came out, it easily became my fav anime of all time and seeing this at the end of the ep made me cry like I’ve also been waiting for bleach to come back for years. Rip to those who weren’t able to witness this..

I think I speak for everyone when I say *"This ending montage made me cry"* First started watching Bleach back in grade school on Adult Swim and it ended during my high school years. This was a big nostalgic trip. I can't believe this is the beginning of the end..

It’s kinda nuts to see this return. This ED is a fantastic montage for the return of Bleach. You can really feel the years. The Big 3 can be felt even from 2022. Congrats Kubo.

The return of the one and only, and what a great song to celebrate it.

I love how the lyrics refer to a character's personality or morality or what they are/have been through : « in a nightmare where i hurt someone over and over, i took a shallow breaths and aimed the arrow toward the depth of my heart.» with few iconic scenes of Uryu. Followed by the one who hit me the most, which is Renji « in the peace of solitude, i hoped for a quiet end. » , showcasing that with his battle against Byakuya, he wanted to prove his strength as a man and that he can protect Rukia if he ever win. He didn't, but at least he was glad because he tried, and was okey with himself dying knowing full well he gave it all his best in order to help the one who is dear to him. Now for Urahara-san, the lyrics said when a few shots of him showed up is « Something grew cold and lonely inside me. » this may hint that he is depressed or rather sad for thing I'm not aware of honestly. This hurt me the most because i feel that he is putting a fake mask on almost all the time, barely showing his loneliness and sadnesses to anyone. If you guys have something to add in this specific context, let me know !

This ending is just everything, reliving through the past events and a perfect way for Bleach’s return. Our boy Ichigo came a long way and now he’s back

I can't stop listening to this banger everyday since Bleach returned.

bleach helped me get through the months I spent in the hospital from a kidney disease. I spent the majority of those months alone, and I remember vividly on christmas eve, I was watching the hueco mundo arc. So now every year on christmas, I think about the openings from that arc and the time I spent watching bleach while I recovered in the hospital. I'll never forget how this show saved me from the loneliness and fear of not being able to live a full life span. Thank you Tite Kubo for showing the world your vision. It truly saved me from a dark place, I'm able to look back on those times with a smile thanks to your work.

Gin was always one of my favourite characters and the ending having his death scene with Rangiku will always bring a tear to my eye.

I just recently binged all of Bleach within 5 days and after seeing this special ed as well as the entire TYBW part 1. I can tell how much work, effort, love, and appreciation was shown to all of you loyal fans. I felt nostalgic over something I had just binged which makes no sense but that's what Bleach can do to you. Truly excited for what's to come as well as very sad with the end being near.

I came to this ending because I wanted to thank Kubo so much for this anime. Today I proudly share with everyone that I graduated from my college. I had ups and downs but I remember that I would always watch one episode per week of bleach. It helped me continue my education through tough times. And when I heard it was coming back I was elated. I was only in episode 276 but I watched the anime before already so when I heard the blood arc was being made and when it aired I was elated. So far it hasn't been a let down. Thank you Kubo!!

No wonder old man zangestu or his Quincy spirit always treated him like a child. Because all descendants of Ywach are considered his children. Hence why he called him “my son born in the dark”.

This is amazing!!! The lyrics gives me the vibe that it was describing each scenerio in a way too. For Example at 1:06 "And I saw something invisible inside you" during Ichigo and Grimmjaws fight, that is the first time Orihime saw Ichigo's Hollow Mask which is basically ichigo's Hollow inside him who no one can see. That gave me the chills

Idk why but the very first shot of him holding the sword for the first time sticks in my mind. And the line "in the void of my heart i feel ill at ease" describes it perfectly. He wanted to fight to protect all that he holds dear, that's what he's all about.

Perfect ending song Bleach had it's issues back in the day but their music library was one of the best in anime history

Had to come back here after watching the finale. As always, Ichigo da greatest MC with the greatest development imo. Years ago back when og Bleach was still running, the anime and him in particular was the reason that I'm better person nowadays, so once again, this made me tear up.

I literally cried the first time I saw this (after twbw ep1). So many years of love and nostalgia for Bleach. Was watching this show at the end of high school and when I was in college. Took me right back to young hopeful me. When the whole world and my whole life was still ahead of me.

The joy, the sorrow, the fear, the anger, the excitement, the despair, the pure adrenaline from the fights. Bleach made me feel everything. This ending compiles this so perfectly.

I was just thinking of this montage this morning and how, when i saw this for the first time, i felt chills seeing how far these characters have come and what they've endured. This was such a love letter to fans who've followed Bleach from the beginning (which i am not one of them, but am SO glad i started the original anime 3 years ago and finished it 2 years afterwards) What a coincidence that Viz posted this today

I really love this special ending to ep 1 of Bleach's return after such a long hiatus. It's just such a great celebration of bleach through the years, and it's so cool to see how far its come. The last time I was watching weekly Bleach was back in highschool, this really takes me back

Can you please give one to Noriyuki Abe. He's the one who made this adaptation possible since the very beginning. I was happy to see his name on the Special Thanks part. It's like him passing the torch to the new director, Tomohisa Taguchi. For me, Bleach Anime has the best structure that every adaptation should have and it's hasn't changed since. Brought a tear to my eye, I think I can speak for a lot of people who felt that we were right there with Ichigo thru his entire journey. Crazy to see how he developed as a character from fearing his own power to rising to the occasion to protect his world. One of the most defining moments for me was when he was preparing to fight Aizen and Gin remarked at how Ichigo had more power in his eyes
