And if I'm not mistaken, as a not insignificant bonus, what we get out of oil shale is a fair bit easier to refine than other oil. That gives a lot of leeway and options on the global market, and presumably domestic refineries that are cheaper and quicker to establish. I'm no prophet, but the fundamentals of our future look pretty bright. As in anything else in life, shit can happen though, at any moment.

They will be willing to sacrifice everything and will fight to the death. There is no way in hell China is ever going to give up on Taiwan just like North Vietnam never gave up on South Vietnam till they were victorious.
