the branch you ate was probably very hard (not fresh). When it is freshly baked (or a couple of days old), it is soft. Hard branch is great with black tea.
Btw Šakotis (Branch Cake) Are usually way bigger and also they are not that hard or even dry if are fresh (obviously) Also, I have actually never seen The tree water or as we call it "sula" here being sold in shops (not that I tried hard to find) so I only tasted it fresh when we gathered some on our own. Anyways, whoever sent the snacks made quite a decent choices even if i'd liked for you to try few others that I love and also great video.
haha, you actualy ate the blood candy :D most would just be discusted. But as you learned they arnt that bad! i like them personaly and buy one from time to time. I am usprised that she didnt included "Gaidelis" cookies.
FORTUNA AND MANIJA IS AMAZING, HEMATOGENAS IS NOT A BLOOD, IT IS FOR BLOOD. BASICALLY PEOPLE WHO HAVE ANEMIA - IT IS HEALTHY TO EAT IT HELPS YOUR BLOOD CELLS.
Exactly like @Rimgaudas Kerpauskas told earlier - this is the worst what Lithuania has to offer in terms of snacks. Karina is sooo wrong with almost everything she sent to you.
