Pakistani dramas are really good as they focus a lot on simplicity & morality. You can watch with family. But now they are also following the Bollywood glamour shows. Hope they are not affected by too much glamour and continue connecting with people and their simplicity in lives which is so importantt
There is simplicity and morality but still no respect for women and marriage, mostly the story revolves around marriage between cousins, break ups and again remarriage, nothing in the way of highlighting women empowerment, I love Pakistani dramas mainly for not being melodramatic but find it is again based on male dominance and women suppression, I just watch for some good acting by actors who are really doing an excellent job
I think just bcause there is no over the top drama they try to brush it off as realistic mature and good content but i am observed they all are similar with poor direction and low budget/production. They are trying fo copy bollywood by doing all these. The guy with the dholki is literally every young actor from the late 2000s i hav grown up watching to be honest.
