A delicious and flavorful dish! Here's a simple Mutton Pulao recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup mutton pieces (you can use lamb or goat meat too)
2 cups basmati rice- 2 medium onions, finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 medium tomato, diced
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon coriander powder 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
1 teaspoon fennel seeds
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
Salt, to taste
2 tablespoons ghee or oil
2 cups water
Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions:
1. Rinse the rice and soak it for 30 minutes. Drain and s2. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onions, garlic, and ginger until softened.
3. Add the mutton pieces and cook until browned.
4. Add the spices (cumin seeds, coriander powder, garam masala powder, fennel seeds, turmeric powder, and salt) and cook for 1-2 minutes.
5. Add the rice and stir well.
6. Add the water and bring to a boil.
7. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is cooked and fluffy.
8. Garnish with cilantro and serve hot
