So what does that tell us? Rhetorical question. The FBI of that generation never wanted him found. Venice Beach isn't far from Santa Monica at all. They didn't even send his picture to the border. The reason being is because there were many more FBI agents involved with Bulger than Connelly.bAs corrupt as he was, Connelly was the scapegoat for all of them.

That movie did this whole fiasco NO justice. Basically just copied a Hong Kong classic & used Whitey as a character. And I mean copied damn near every big part of the HK movie...

@@aceloco817 I thought you were mixing up the movies, and thought it was the Johnny Depp movie that was based of a Hong Kong movie, which I never knew. I knew of the The Departed one. Didn't know the Depp one was also based of a Hong Kong movie.
