Hey Chris its Solly i'm sorry that i never informed you it was my son that did this, it was to honor your Father , Herman and Cedras who paid the ultimate price serving their country your Father was a good friend and a brother of mine a true warrior who would fight next to his Brothers no matter what, every time i play this i cry as i am right now typing this message to you it was the only way i could find to honor his name as i was and am still broken about his passing , i was there the day of that operation on the op with your dad and he fought and died as a true Zulu warrior would against evil and this was the only way i could find to honor him please forgive me for not letting you know but i hope you are proud of him and may he rest in peace and let this memorial always stand as a tribute to a brave man Father and Brother that he was.

SAPS STF... when I was young I always thought I'd end up there but I guess God destined me to the mining industry. STF is my pride of the nation & keep on doing the jobs you're doing. it's a pity we don't get to hear more about these guys and the likes of NIU & CAT.
The bush terrain in the background gives me chills, such reminiscent memories with the Army in Lohatlha, Schmidtdrift and De Brug. Much respect to the STF, they’re a rare breed, only when you know will you know how hard it is even to last a week of selection. It’s so easy for me to type this while chilling on the couch in a small cabin of an oil rig in the middle of the Arabian gulf, some people think this is hard.

On that Monday 2007/11/19 there were 2 police operations. Sergeant Rambo died that day at Fonteine dal. I was luck to make it out alive in the other operation
