Just bought that helmet on sale, same color as yours. I am happy I came across this video. I had a good feeling that it was a good purchase. It should be here next week or this weekend.
Just bought my third specialised echelon helmet. First was about 12 years ago, replaced with the echelon 2 about six years ago and just replaced that with mips version. Very adjustable but no longer comes with replacemnt pads.
Thanks for the feedback. I have creaky bottom bracket experience with a Spesh bike. Be careful when they tell you frames come with a lifetime warranty it’s BS😊👍
Hi James, I have been looking at this helmet for a few weeks as I have a Giro Isode mips which I don't find overly comfy and like you say is a bit mushroomy. Out of curiosity which Giro helmet do you have? I think i may invest in one of these.
Hi Paul thanks for popping by. I have the Giro Hex which is more off road but as said not too keen on the straps and the Mushroom 🍄 look😄 These are a good helmet and think you can pick some of the colours up for around 60/65££. 😊👍
Mine just arrive. Fits pretty good besides one thing. I don’t found an opportunity to adjust the trifix. Unfortunately the trifix cut into my earlobes. Does anyone know if there is any chance to adjust that I don’t see? You can pull at the back of helmet, but then the other side is way much shorter.
If you look the rear part adjustment is in to the ball of the helmet. They’re secured in and you have to pull them out. I will see if I can put a shirt together to show you. Thanks for dropping by.😊👍
@@JamesSocialCycling you’re legend mate. Thx for that, but unfortunately that don’t fix my problem. For me the straps are to short, there is on both side some plastic „triangles“ call trifix, these are to short so they cut into my earlobes, as far as I researched, there is no way to adjust this. It’s a pity, that helmet fits so well and looks so good 😌🥲 my head/face might be to long 😅
