I suggest take anything apart that you can, txv, eepr, epr ,oil regulator...ect. once taken apart you can clearly see what your limits are to avoid back seating too much.
Digging your guys' training videos for your techs. I just left Colorado after 21 years and moved to Texas. Wishing y'all serviced Texas so I could join ya!
Trying to size an oil separator. Manufacture does not know what size separator was originally installed on the rack. 653.3 Mbtu’s compressor capacity and the capacity used for all equipment is 614 Mbtu’s. Many guys on the Super Market Ref. Facebook group says that the separator can be slightly undersized. My boss is going to replace the separator with what is currently on the system now (which the existing separator has been replaced once before). I’m worried that the existing (current) separator is the wrong size. I’ve also read that you cannot decrease the discharge line size, which is why my boss is going back with what’s in there. What is your opinion on sizing oil separators?
