Well produced video. With that said: What you demonstrated with caster, though, doesn't jive with the instructions. Instructions say to turn the wheel "out" 15 degrees, zero the bubble on the CASTER gauge, and then turn the wheel 15 degrees "in". This might be why you were showing -3 degrees caster, which would be awful handling. You were working on the passenger side - you should have started by turning the wheel to the right instead of left.

I noticed this too. But if you do it backwards it’s just opposite. In the reality the car has positive 3 degrees caster...not negative.

The video is wrong, negative caster would have the top of the strut in front of the bottom and unless that mustang has been crashed, isn’t possible. FWIW caster for those cars should be closer to 7 deg positive.

J Morris 7!? I doubt it. Most likely 3 is in spec or a little low for sure. Quick google search is showing 4-4.5 positive is closer to ideal for this generation mustang. Not a mustang guy but 7 sounds very high.

When you were measuring caster you zero-ed the gauge on the camber scale, is that correct? Shouldn't you zero the gauge on the caster scale?

this only checks caster/camber... how can you check toe-in/out? (sorry for the noob questions)... and how do you set/adjust alignment and coilover corner weights at the track or in your home/residential garage?

i'm looking into buying this and a QuickJack to be able to maintain my car (and make adjustments for track days and spirited drives) on my own.
