Let me get this straight: You comment something that is unrelated to the fact that I have two DANGEROUSLY DASHING girlfriends? Considering that I am the unprettiest RU-vidr ever, having two hot girlfriends is really incredible. Yet you did not mention that at all. I am quite disappointed, dear pat
@@Tushii I doubt that’s why boffy said that though. He is the type of guy to just not know that stuff because it’s an unimportant fact. And even if he was you are contributing to it so
fun fact: the blobfish looks completely normal in its natural habitat but when they bring it up to thesurface, thats when it gets this weird because its body is used to extremely high water pressure because it lives very deep underwater
The “Blobfish” you’re seeing is actually a deep sea animal that has internally exploded from the pressure of being pulled up so fast, they’re actually a much better looking creature than this, just fyi
The natural Blobfish actually looks pretty cute. I wouldn’t say cute enough to be a pet, but definitely better than some of the other creatures on this list.
for those who dont know what an immortal jellyfish is and don't think boffy explained it very well: they can revert themselves to a previous stage of their life, basically living forever until something eats them or whatever
Actually, the goblin shark jaw makes perfect sense. In water, opening your mouth while swimming cancel you hydrodynamics, making you slower and blowing away small fish with the waves you cause (as water doesn't flow over you anymore)
I disagree with blobfish. Normally, under the proper pressure, they aren’t bloated messes, rather more normal looking fish. I mean I have other disagreements but the blobfish I feel was unjust Also, where are wasps
Fun fact: The reason Blobfish look the way they do is because *we took them out of their natural deep sea environment and laugh at them being unable to handle atmospheric pressures that are unnatural for their bodies.*
Fun fact: the reason why blob fishes look like that on land is that blob fishes usually just stay really deep in the ocean, but when we fish em up to the surface they violently depressurize and become well... blobby. they look like normal fishes when they're in the sea
Boffy, the blobfish only looks like that because it’s been de-pressurized from 3,000 feet underwater. The air dissolving out of its skin tore it to shreds.
You guys should look up the Helicoprion. It’s a prehistoric aquatic creature. I’m pretty sure it doesn’t actually look like most of those photos, but what we thought it looked like is terrifying
Subscribing to Boffy is like a weird but pleasant cycle of forgetting he exists and then remembering that he does when he makes another ungodly (funny) video.
It’s cool the immortal jellyfish actually changes it’s tissue type from standard to specialized during transformation. As a mature adult it can send itself back to a healthy teenage polyp
The blob fish image is actually a blob fish after being pulled out of the water and has severe damage. It looks like an actual fish in its natural habitat
I was looking for this exact piece of info. Imagine some extraterrestrial life snatching you to outer space and discuss how disgusting you look judging by how extremely swollen and red-blue your whole body is and how you're bleeding from every possible orifice
Boffy: “if you saw a viperfish or goblin shark while swimming you would shit your pants.” If you saw those while swimming you most likely will have been crushed by water pressure
Sorry for being a nerd but actually, the blob fish looks like that because they live deep underwater were the pressure is far greater than the one here, so the blob fish looks much better under water.
Fun fact: A blobfish only looks like that after being pulled up from the bottom of the ocean. It actually looks quite nice when it hasn't been decompressed. Well sort of nice, nicer I should say. Edit: I am not thanking anyone or likes. I am asking why the heck there is so many after one day? It was just a correction jesus christ.
The common picture of the blob fish is a blob fish that’s been pulled close to the surface. They’re deep water fish and look pretty cool when they’re normal. (The change in pressure messes them up out of water) Also, “daddy long legs” refers to three completely different creatures, only one is a spider.
on another note. WHERE TF DID THEY GET THAT STATISTIC. HAS THERE BEEN AN OCCURENCE WHERE A CHILD HAS BEEN EATEN ALIVE BY CRABS. IMAGINE THE UNBEARABLE PAIN AND MILD COMEDY AS YOU ARE EATEN BY A SWARM OF CRABS.
fun fact: every picture you’ve seen of a blobfish they’re actually dead ✨ they don’t actually look like that until they get pulled to the surface and the gasses in their bodies pretty much explode from the pressure change !!
Blobfishes actually look like normal fish, but because the pressure on the surface is so different from the bottom of the sea, they fall apart and become blobs. That's like naming humans after what they look like after they exploded in the vacum of space.
The parts about bugs are absolutely amazing when I push my phone to the other side of the bed and look at it from an angle where I can't see the screen.
I like how Boffy brings up the “Immortal Jellyfish” like he didn’t just drop a bombshell by saying this jellyfish can’t fucking die but then just glosses over it and moves on
I mean they can die and they die in mass like all the time. But they just can't die of age. Compare it to how humans can regrow our liver but if you damage your liver to the point it has to regrow your dead anyway.
It has the power to regress back into a fucking baby which is kinda terrifying they usually live for about 600 years or so and would live forever without predators
@@massivelegend5209 the United states science institute is studying the immortal jellyfish to figure out how it live forever to reverse engineered it ability for human use to some extent as of 2018
In the sloths defense, being able to survive big ass falls is badass itself. Sure it’s kinda because their brains barely function but still, it’s got fall damage turned off, gotta respect that 😭
In 5th grade, at recess in the early fall, some kids found 2 Daddy Long Legs nests INSIDE the PLAYGROUND! Then they got a stick and made ALL of the Daddy Long Leg spiders run EVERYWHERE! I was watching them poke the nests, but I just stood and watched. Then like 5 jumped on me and I found one in my pillow. I think I can still feel them Fun times 👌
@@triql4210 It would somewhat. But I don't think any animals would go extinct without it, and probably worth a certain amount of harm to the environment to save millions of lives
Mosquitos give me Vietnamese flashbacks, they harmed me in a way I cannot erase from my mind. 12 years ago I was a 7 year old wee lad. I played in the park, loved pokemon platinum more than I should have, and was just vibing 24/7. Then, it happened. Somehow, a mosquito had either laid its eggs IN MY KNEE or crawled into it (noone knows), and it gave me this gigantic pimple-looking thing that expanded the size of my knee by tenfold. Apparently whatever did happen in there died, and my body started trying to digest it; somehow that thing gave me an awful staph infection, and I was on the knifes edge of getting my leg amputated. (Luckily) One day brown digested-mosquito puss started oozing out, complete with white streaks, and the struggle was over. Every single mosquito deserves the rope. Every. Last. One
I agree, 4 years ago in 2017 when the dengue outbreak started, i was one pf the survivors in that time and now i fking hate every single last mosquito that lives in this big ball of rock and water
the blob fish just looks like a normal fish when in water it only looks like a "blob" above the water because it lives very deep underwater where there is a lot of pressure, and the low pressure on the surface causes it to decompress.
