Profe, I was very pleased with the many routines you did with the goalkeeper he is quick and moves fast as it should be. As a goalkeeper trainer there are always new drills to create and yours just increased my repertoire of drills they were fabulous and you can be sure I'll be using them with my goalkeepers in my team. Congratulations and if you have more please show them again.Willie Cartagena
That's awesome man! I have just started keeper coaching and have a keeper already competing in a state team, and it looked like this would help him out, so thanks a lot really appreciate it (:
No problem! Been using this tactic on my first year goalkeeper, works wonders in helping him get in the air. It's either get in the air, or get hooked on the rope and put to the ground.
Every goalkeeper needs training like that once or twice a week, the fact that Buffon, Neuer, or Casillias doesn't do it doesn't mean that none can't do it these are good exercises maybe Buffon, Neuer, Casillias or Cech have done it in the past
Hello Mario, Thank you for following my work, know that it is a pleasure to know that my training will use in your training sessions ... Know that these jobs are not high-impact run daily ... Are made one to two times per week, thus having a time rasoavel rest between sessions and other training ... Luis Henrique
Lead with your head. Make your first movement in the direction you want to dive with your head. This will result in the rest of your body following that general direction. Also, if the shot is going towards the bottom left corner (goalkeepers bottom right) you should try to dive over your little toe on your right foot. This will result in you have good shape whilst diving, and allowing you to attack the flight of the ball.
Who says us goalkeepers are not in good shape because we dont do the same amount of running as field playes.... those my friends are some very intence cardio work outs
Thanks for your comment, I respect your opinion, but I believe in my approach, because I have achieved good results with it ... Above all I work with high performance athletes and always seek the highest performance ... Luis Henrique
na for starting goalkeepers you should focus on technique above all else, you will get much better results at your age from developing good positioning and good technique. everything done in the gym you can wait till your older, but all the rest would be good for you
Mr. Luis Henrique I have a question for u, I am 16 years old and 180cm tall, I would like to start fitness ( practice in gym ) recently so does that make any bad influence in my training as a goalkeeper or is it fine?
You dont want to get parallel as a goal keeper sometimes because when you jump quick to get the ball do you go parallel? It builds a certain muscle to help help you become explosive my goal keeper coach has me do that all th time
I'm a bit tubby but I'm a great keeper i can save pens scored 32 goals and had my head kicked in and stood on and cried for 5 mins. so boom wat a cumback
Angel Torres usually when i play soccer and i am the goalkeeper i wear pants with pads and a keeper shirt with pads. So when i dive it doesn't hurt. You don't need to dive every match. You rarely need to dive. When you really need to dive is when you know you can't save the ball. I hope it helped:)
im sorry but they need to lower their weight and do all the workouts with correct form. i respect the amount of effort they put in but they run a higher risk of injury like this
Don't do lot of waights, its not good for you man. Your gonna be slow. IM not just saying this out of random check me out i have my goalkeeper its in my channel. im really good
@monimojo dude what carrier? ur 9 years old at least wait till 13 to say carrier man u could become something else explore different possibilities but being goalkeeper is awesome never give up
