Fishing from the bank presents a unique set of challenges, and that's especially true when what you're fishing is a glorified ditch with cars and trucks zooming by you every few seconds.
But it can be an absolute blast. That certainly was the case this week when I teamed up with Jared Serigne, host of the @OutsidetheLevees RU-vid channel, to explore some of the roadside stuff down in St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana.
Our primary target was marsh bass, but that didn't keep us from catching some surprise fish.
