The Gold Coast is synonymous with family fun, out of comfort-zone thrills, endless sunshine and stunning beaches. It’s also famous for being home to the tallest residential building in the Southern Hemisphere and that is Q1.
I decided to test out my slight discomfort with heights and take the kids for a stay at in this awe-inspiring building.
With 1, 2, 3 or 4 bedroom self contained apartment options, Q1 is great a great option for the whole family. Light bright and super spacious, everywhere you look, that Queensland sunshine teamed up with the Pacific Ocean just soothes the soul.
To add to the excitement of your stay, Q1 has an observation deck called Skypoint. Just a mere 77 stories up, you can shoot up the express elevator that that’s approximately 43 seconds.
With breathtaking 360 degree views you can see as far as Byron Bay Brisbane, Gold Coast Hinterland and the Pacific ocean. For those with a more adventure spirit (not me), you can head outdoors to take on Australia’s highest building climb.
I couldn’t resist taking Scarlett in to the Q1 day spa for her first girly relaxation session. Operated by the international award-winning Exclusive Spas, Scarlett and I signed up for the works.
