Spectacular Wasdale and Burnmoor Tarn - Lake District mountain biking with Trail-Finder

Mountain biking in one of the Lake District's most spectacular valleys. Wasdale is home to England's deepest lake, Wast Water, and England's biggest mountain, Scafell Pike. Starting in Eskdale this ride takes in Mitredale Forest on the way to Wasdale. Riding past Wast Water it then returns to Eskdale via Burnmoor Tarn - a secluded spot at the foot of Scafell.
This ride is about the views as much as the riding. It was an enjoyable day out though I think we agreed, it would have probably been a better ride the opposite way round.

If I rode my bike over those paths at that speed it would break up. You have a very strong cycle there.

Great video mate. Id like to have a crack at that but I have never seen it in any guides (Including yours, I have the Kindle version. Love it.) Did you descend the upper or lower path beside Burnmoor?

Thanks mate, and thanks for getting the book - glad you like it. We used the bridleway from Wasdale Head to Boot, which skirts the eastern side of Burnmoor Tarn. Choose a prolonged spell of dry weather as apparently it can get pretty boggy around there in wetter months.

Great trip again and thanks for sharing. MTBing in the lakes myself, there's enough to do there for years ! Can I ask what resolution, frame rate and mode you're using on the GoPro?

No worries, I think it is on 4k 30fps and protune settings
