if another mmo came along with the same graphics and same combat. minus the little dumb stuff and actually had brains on the dev team, bdo would be no more tbh the games only alive today because nobody else has better combat and graphics and that literally it.

and unfortunately...... its going to stay that way for the unforseeable future. they invested all their resources in custom home made engine that prevents copy cats of their combat style system. all the other mmos we see so far still tab, or on UE 4........ maybe some of the newer mmo on UE5 can rattle the asian style mmo scene. but realistically nope.

Which isn't going to happen, and there's no point on lamenting on it. Crimson Desert is also coming out, so there's an even less chance for any competition.

All they had to do, was to just rotate the tiers every couple weeks/months so You dont fight the same nodes every week, and boost rewards a bit. People would be so happy about it. But then, we got THIS instead 🤣

Another issue they haven't fixed, is on guild league, you might have 10/10 click join and 5 of them just disconnect completely right when they click join, leading to the guild getting a strike for no reason

We had one guy counting the timer down, and we placed our flag very late north of the base to have a final push when we realized, that we lose the fort. The elephant came that late, because it actually not a good defense tool. Tho, in this scenario we brought him in earlier to see if we can tap under the elephant, but the amount of people slamming into the tower and cannon shot prevent everything. It came late because we kinda expected to lose the tower and wanted it to recharge it quickly and then have one final push. And, i know it's just a show, but stop calling my teammate morons.

These recent changes honestly made me quit BDO, right as i was really getting into it and pushing for 730 on evasion build, now NW is shit PVP is shit, gear is pointless so now if i get on BDO its to sail around on my boat... This aint even NW this shit was a HUGE FAILURE as well as the Evasion/DR changes... PA brags about share price going up, enjoy that while you can, cuz its about to tank just as fast

in gear-capped games, is it left to the player to wear the tuvala gear? Or does the games perform scaling based on what ever gear is worn by the player?

The game applies a stat cap to all players inside the node war zone. That's why you have players using alternative gear like Kaia and Chimera (as well as occasional stamina gear) since the gear requirements are very low

it puts a cap on the stats you have, so if you have 600 ap and 400 dr, and you are on a node capped to 245 ap and 223 dr, you will have 245 and 223.

Well in one point I can understand the changes. After the first nodes are dropped out every guild earn the chance to get the remaining ones. This would end in a clusterclutch if everyone would play like intended. However - diplomancy and less pvp guilds... If the system works like I think then in the next nodewar the strong guilds have to defend their nodes and cant participate for uncapped nodes which would animate more guilds into that.

They should have that all structures placed in the region with the fort to be removed (sent to inventory) when the fort changes owners, except the structures placed by the new owners. This way the new owners can properly defend and not repeat the Otters incident. But it would also need to have a bit more defences, like barricades, to stop attackers from body-throwing. And from what was shown in this video, the fort is a bit too squishy compared to player-placed structures.

I hate the new NW system; you can't be TP at the start of the NW I know there are no forts to TP at, but still... you should be able to assemble at the start of NW, the leaders can just pin a place in a certain location and make that the assembly point or spot at the start of NW. If you got stuck in a town (e.g.: Heidel) and you miss the guild CTG and the region you got assigned is in Valencia, then good luck going to Valencia at the start of NW... either you need to run from Heidel to Valencia or switch to a non-NW server, leave your platoon, take the magnus TP, then wait until you can server swap again. Very nice PA! Keep up the stupid work!

That's just twitch's garbage servers. They don't allow for actually good bitrate. It's limited to like 6k to 8k for normal non-partners. Idk how high it goes for affiliates. Still not that high probably

Tldr. You can get money for your guild and then later do fights finally of ya want when your girl has its passives maxed. I think the systrm helps new guilda get something out of nw.

Honestly the worst node war content they couldve created. The way they explained it was so much better. Actually playing has made me realise this game isnt for veterans anymore, i understand wanting to shorten wars. 20 minutes is way too short and its not like cho vs t1 and pve guilds is gonna be a fair fight. So those guilds still wont be doing this content. Honestly i bet node wars get shut down like wotr until they figure their shit out.

I was on that valencia node and was really short we didnt have time to really fight againts. 24 min we get the firts push take the fort and lose It at last 5 min take 90% of the fort in that 5 min and end the node war. 7 min of the node war was taking the hawacha down jajajaja really ffs content. Need to be fixed with more time and some other ideas that should be change.
