Yes. The sweet spot is about 3 inches using a 720p sports cam. But the camera used for this is alot bigger :)

Problem that I've seen with this site from other videos is that it doesn't have micro adjustments for left to right and that one click moves the center to 1.5 to 2 inches on target

your having an issue with geting a good cross hair on target because your cameria isnt in the sweet spot for sight. depending on which brand of clone it is the sweet spot could be 1.5 inchs to 3 inchs behind it.
