I've had the I've had the@addacsystem6002 601 for a long time and have been able to use it countless times since then, fitting it into almost any musical environment. It is a versatile module that is not only useful for its simple but well thought design, but also for its excellent sound quality: it handles synthesized sounds and the sound of instruments providing mechanical waves just as well.

I have just seen Moog’s Spectral semi-mod synth.. I thought “that’s basically a fixed filter bank” 🤔 Then I bought one of these..

Wow, that's very interesting. I don't have this filter, but have a MI Blades, which although it has only 2 channels, it has the possibility to do exactly the same filtering options your explaining (well, except it's only 2). I'm going to be trying this out later, thanks for the video.

Sounds good (you're a lucky person to have Blades). This was one goal of the video, i.e. trying to present the concept. Although the 601 has all features to do these stuff but the idea can be transformed to other filters.

@@bylant Yes, it was quite by chance that I found Blades, which had been sent back to the shop for some reason. I also didn't know it was out of production either, and just scooped it up as it was exactly the type of filter I was looking for.

great patches ;) especially loved the first one when second osc/seq came in, and the polygogo with ochd example, im using a Sputnik SP, and looks like Øchd is a great addition to further animate it.

Hi, thanks. Yes, Sputnik SP and Ochd will certainly be a good pair. Ochd is really useful, I could put it in almost all my patches :)

Hi, well the twohave the similar architecture (filterbank+env followers) but the Bark has different cutoff frequencies and more channels.
