The spectrogram can help in understanding bird songs and gives a visual aid to identifying and memorising their songs. The video includes the blue tits commonly heard song and also some of the variations to look out for.
Nicely done, except for the layout. The scrolling text along the bottom made it tricky to read while watching the 'big screen' sonagram. Fixed text alongside 'big screen' would've worked better for me, I think.
I have a Blue Tit bird song for my phone ring tone ..I love all birds and have many resident birds of all kinds...but my little one legged Blue Tit is such an inspiration .. Thank you for your videos...I'm a long time sub from Ireland x
So lovely to hear the bird call and see the pitch and rhythm . We are still waiting for our birds to return to our garden after a cold spell. Thank you for this treat!
I've only just got into birds after a blackbird nested in my back. Sadly it was predated by a magpie I think and the chicks were all killed. Broke my heart. After that I decided to put out feeders. I bought a feedign station and then a ground fedding tray for the dunnocks, chaffinches, blackbirds and a single thrush that visits. That was all grand but now pigeons are dominating. They all look exactly the same, 2 black bars on the wings. I found that strange. Is there any way to stop them dominating the garden? I don't want the ground feeding birds to miss out but I also don't want to be swarmed by these pifeon clones. I'm in the suburbs of Belfast by theway, up in Carnmoney valley. There is also a sparrowhawk and red kite regularly carrying out reconnaisance work high above.
