Motown founder Berry Gordy created a legendary American sound that emerged out of Detroit, which led to the fame and dominant radio airplay of acts like The Jackson 5, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder, The Four Tops and Marvin Gaye. Joining us for our Summer Series at Jones Hall is the spectacularly soulful vocal quartet, Spectrum. These men, who are performing alongside the Houston Symphony, are bringing their R&B, pop and funk talents to hits like “Get Ready,” “Boardwalk,” “I’ll Be There” and “My Girl.” Our program also features medleys celebrating The Four Seasons and The Righteous Brothers.
