danielsjohnson wow thanks! Oh you should! There are 3 incarnations of it just so you know. The first being a 30 minute ova from 2013, then a movie through kick-starter that continued the ova, called enchanted parade. It didn't get an actual anime till last year and basically starts the series as new. But has same characters and elements from it. it's a cute, fun charming series with fantastic animation and humor. Also has some drama

+Lonely Heart lol I was in high school when it aired in the US. and I loved it XD You're never too old to enjoy anime or cartoons. Heck if people from kids to 30 year olds are enjoying miraculous ladybug, my little pony, teenage mutant ninja turtle gravityfalls, Steven universe, there is nothing wring with that. its just storytelling using the medium of animation. some jokes and stories may be aimed more for "kids" but doesn't lessen its value as a good show. after all its adults who have to make this "kids shows"

I am smitten with the show XD My best friend said it was too bad ladybug wasn't a anime (I mean there are previews in anime form) but it would have been a awesome addition the amv XD But yeah i highly recommend the series in here. Some are a bit campy or silly but they are all unique and have great stories.

Don't get me started on Ladybug either. I could be here for hours. XD I heard that they're going to make an OVA for Ladybug. I'm not sure if it will be CGI or more like anime. It definitely would've been a great addition to this. I'll probably watch at least one or two of the anime in here that I haven't seen yet. There's just so much anime to watch and not enough time. :P

+NekoKitkat25hug They're also going to do a live action movie. I'm not sure how that will turn out though... :P I've seen Cardcaptor Sakura, Shugo Chara, Sailor Moon, and Madoka Magica. Oh! Another one you could've added it Tokyo Mew Mew! I've only watched the first few episodes of that one.

yeah I heard about that! It will be interesting to see what they do with it. Yeah I saw like an episode of tokyo mewmew but i never really saw it so I didn't add it. As for series then I suggest princess tutu its 24 episode, serious great magical girl series and actually set the foundation for madoka Its like ballet with a twist on fairytales.. I also suggest munto tv, that is only 9 episodes . Little witch academia is also great only 2 episodes. Dunno if you like mecha anime but magic knight rayearth and escaflowne are fantasy magical girl mech series XD I suggest the Manga though for rayearth first its only 6 vols and really good. Doremi is like 150 or so episodes so its a rather long magical girl series.

Sure! well lets start with Little witch academia since thats easier. Little witch academia started out as a 30 min student ova in 2013. Just a simple short, that got a lot of love.Because the student film got so much attention they decided to run a kickstarter for a movie which they met their goal and thus made the movie Little Witch Academia: Enchanted parade. which is a sequel to the ova. Later in 2016 they were green lit for a full tv series. The tv series came out in 2017 and disregards the ova and the movie. Although has many elements and reuses characters and some scenarios from them. The movie and ova are separate from the tvs but basically the beginnings of what the franchise would become. For just for the main plot just watch the tv series. where as the movie and ova are just extended shorts as thats what they were. Now Madoka is a MESS. lol first and foremost I say just watch the original 12 episode tv series. The first two movies just retell the tv series in a shorter amount of time with some new animation here and there (mostly transformations and new more risque shots that were absent from the tv series). There was a new director that wanted to take the series in a different route than the tv show. Hence why they feel so different. I personally loved the tv series for what it did. The movies tend to pander more towards romance and fan service. Nothing wrong with that just letting you know for your own preference. The 3rd movie, Rebellion takes place after the tv series/2nd movie. Its REALLY CONFUSING and kinda throws a lot of what the tv series did out in terms of character development. It has gorgeous animation and stunning visuals though. Just again mostly seemed to center around romance and fan service again. Just mostly annoyed with what they did with homura. There is supposedly a 4th movie in the works that will continue where the 3rd left off and we'll see what happens. Just know the 3rd movie makes a mess of things and makes things very weird and confusing XD. There is also various games and manga too. If you like to read and have time do check out the manga based on the tv series and different story which adapts a story that was cut from the anime due to constraints but was never animated. Sorry for the message. But I hope this helps
