that is the nastiest battle EVER. I have never seen such awesome displays of backing up the cockiness. usually it's all trash talking for show, but this was serious business. I liked how at the end Ismael disrespects after Spee D tries to be cool about it all then just drags it out. You can tell Ismael was tired after the first few rounds, this took it all the way. AWESOME!!!
spee-d gives respect where respect is due. he is competitive at first and then goes to shake the other dude's hand- he gets dissed then schools him to the curb. Made him look like a chump. Very well done.
I agree. I liked this battle. it's a very good text book example of proper attitude in a one on one. Spee-D was dissing in the very beginning because he's just being competitive. He came in did his thing walked out.
I think they were saying it mainly about his toprocks. From the beginning his toprocks were ugly as heck, but you saw he had confidence. You notice in later rounds, because they keep making fun of his ugly tops, he stops doing his "fancy" steps, and just sticks to doing regular basic toprocks lol.
From what I hear, Ismael hadn't been dancing that long when this battle took place. I think he would stand a better chance now simply based on consistency, though Spee-D has definitely gotten better too.
I have to admit Spee-d is one of my favourite b-boys, but, I think part of the reason Isamel was being an asshole, was because Spee-d punked him off when Isamel went for the hand shake in the beginning of the battle.
Looks like Ismael partied too hard the night before the battle. He was hitting the water like it was an oxygen tank on Everest, while Spee-D never slowed down.
Your right. Spee d did go for the hand shake later on and got punked. Isamel was just getting Spee d back for punking him in the beginning of the battle. Everything thing else I agree was not called for.
Guy with the white stripes won to me. Other guy had to take water breaks the last 2 to 3 rounds. Like they wanted to fight. It was getting heated. Props to both guys.
dude, he been breakin for awhile, well depends whats your definition of not long, but ive been watching ismael dancing since he been battlin in his underground battles wen he used to rep his pink hat.
sloppy topwork, crashing, slopping all over the place, bad conditioning where spee d is even taking over ismael's rounds, and his attitude? Yeah, aggressive bboy attitude, good, but then you see when spee d retaliates and shoves ismael for all of the touching, ismael just walks away, so you know it was all a front.
rofl, man i would've loved to see you there. anyway i've made my point. it's over man, only reason spee-d even touched him is because he got sprayed in the face with the medication for asthma. Why? because spee-d said "aw". i'm not talking about the battle tatics in general i mean the whole package. Speed not only backed up what he said but didn't go to that lvl.
I don't really like Ismael in this battle either but to be honest in the very beginning of this battle Spee D started the beef. Ismael tried to shake his hand in the beginning and Spee D left him hanging. So at 5:05 Ismael gets him back. Everything Ismael did in between and after that was a result of Spee D pissing him off in the beginning. Based on this clip Spee D started the beef. I didn't notice this at first, and I didn't like Ismael's attitude but I can see why he acted like dat.
I pity Ismael cause hes got asthma u can tell cause u see him use an inhaler somewhere but at the same time i dont cause he was being a douche to Spee D and Spee D took him out props to Spee D
even though spee d does those same 2 moves most every battle they are just so cool it doesn't matter, his technique is so tight he hardly makes a sound doing his moves. Ismael on the other hand is sloppy, awkward and sounds like a damn elephant!! lol...he got his ass handed to him, taken back and handed back again

I think you are getting confused with a battle tatics and disrespect. In a battle and usually before the dude won't shake your hand. But after the battle people usually show love. Ismael shows disrespect here let's take out the no shaking the hands how many other things does he do here? I can name about 3 off the top of my head. peace
