“My injurie affected me physically and psychologically. I use sign language with both hands, but I lost all feeling in my left hand. Now I communicate with one hand”
Waad Ghazal is a 19-year-old speech-impaired woman from Gaza, who lost the use of her left hand which she uses for sign language, after an Israeli air strike targeted her house in Gaza.
The strike killed both of her parents and injured her siblings.
Ghazal is pleading for the Rafah crossing to be opened, so she can leave Gaza and get treatment for her hand.
