Korean speech therapist reacts to TikToks of some hilariously well-spoken children! With it, I tell you the sure fire tips, tricks, and strategies to elicit and facilitate language at home starting TODAY.
Parents of speech delayed toddlers, if you are watching this, please please be sure to watch the whole video, but especially from 7:36... don't skip! I'm not a parent, nor will I know what it's like to have a child with speech and language delays, but I can tell you that you are doing an amazing job already. It is NOT your fault. Don't lose hope. Keep working on stimulating language at home and seek out treatment from a speech therapist if you need help!

She's so precious! There's a video of her on their RU-vid repeating long words and she's really precise! And her younger sister said "you're antagonising me" in a video to her mum and correct in context! They're amazing. Fellow speechie here ☺️

When I saw Franki's video of her sentences about the snow a few days ago, my jaw dropped. It was almost like poetry coming out of her mouth: "There's snow outside, it's beautiful outside, we should go outside, the pink sunset, gorgeous pink sunset." She's so advanced for her age and if you've seen her other videos, she's really outgoing & hilarious - and I don't even like kids.

That's Franki. She was NOT Baby #1, but she was Baby #2 in your video here. The most articulate baby I've ever encountered - and my daughter was precocious as hell. But Franki .... blows me away. Great parenting at work here too.

Frankie Prior - was the adorable girl with the shopping food, with the description of the snow and pink sunset, she also has a little sister named Stevie. Now, in Nov.2022, Frankie is 3 and Stevie is 2. They are both incredibly intelligent, articulate. Their parents have a RU-vid page The Prior Family. Worth checking it out. It’s adorable. Thanks for your explanations too. I liked your T.I.P.S when the dad was singing Old MacDonald Had a Farm to his baby who would do the chorus of EEIEEIOW … I had never considered how a singsong nursery rhyme like this actually teaches and encourages - talking, listening, taking turns. Makes so much sense. Thanks again 🇦🇺

Child no. 2 is Frankie. She's nearly 3 now and her literacy is amazing. She featured in a few of your clips. Her mom gives them constant opportunities to chat.

Child 2- and 4 is Franki Pior. Mom is KaraLea. I Don't know the sing-along baby and the Sam/Sham child. The last child despite her frustration enunciated pretty good.

Child #1 and child #2 are two different children. Child #2 is named Franki. She turned 2 in January 2021.

I taught preschool for many years, and I would often see situations like the last one here, where the child can't produce the right sound, but if you repeat back to them what they said, they can tell it doesn't sound right. Thankfully, once you've spent a lot of time around kids, you learn how to decipher their speech! In fact, I often found that by repeating what they had said, I would be better able to figure out what they had meant to say. It was like my own mouth could figure out the missing variable lol

The first baby is not Franki. Franki has blond hair and blue eyes and totally different face. The first baby shown had brown hair and brown eyes.

I have an adult friend from hong kong and she came to my house for a visit .my children have a lot of pet animals and my friend said to my child oh you have sick skinny pigs My child said no ,i have six guinea pigs .my friend smiled politely and repeated yes sick skinny pigs .my daughter said mummy why does portia think our guinea pigs are sick ?

I love the video, however I recommend you project your voice more. You seem to be whispering, or speaking softly which results in a lot of sibilance in the recording of your voice. Project into the microphone, lower the gain, and get a clearer recording! I'm looking forward to seeing your future videos. Your insight is great!

You could also do a pass of sound EQ to tailor your desired sound, if you want to. There are a multitude of great dialogue EQ tutorials on youtube!

I'd recommend SBN3's famous video series on how to be a voice actor, namely part 3 of the series. It's targeted to aspiring voice actors but the information is useful for anyone who's in front of a mic. In it he shares some exercises for voice projection halfway through

I think what you are trying to say IS that parent "INVOLVEMENT" is what makes such bright little ones, parents WHO are Involved & Not tossed to video games/TV watching and there are NO excuses get children involved in everything, washing clothes, dishes etc. Parents now a days don't spend hardly any time with their kiddos & yes having children does help when giving advise.
