Love the culmination to the last song. That last paragraph is all three titles, put together in a lovely way. “Dancing Like Flames, After All That I’ve Done, I’ll Salt the Earth and Disappear, Into A Sea Of Fire.”

I wanted to learn more about the band and find myself crying due to the emotional gravity of these songs. When the artists get us beyond the music and into the soul of our lives they have created art. Nicely done.

I enjoyed this reaction, and the first swear is on the second part, "this fucking world disintegrates" after the solo and the 3rd part where you caught the 2nd swear. Yeah brilliant writing all throughout

I really enjoy this reacción. In the trilogy you could see like a tragic history and sad ending, hut, with the meaning Of album it change, the entire album translade in a dream created by him to escape reality, but, in this world, nothing makes sense, him sentence His world to a sea of fire, and back to the reality. Its incredible how the meaning change with the video and the meaning of album, but connects perfectly both meaning. Sorry for my english

I lost my mom first and then my dad so this video really hit me home, the trilogy is just perfect. Mom died from Cancer 6 years ago from a 6 month battle with it and I still remember the scream my father did the moment he passed away. How my house is built, my room is in the back of a hallway, so to get out of the house, I need to go through a hallway passing by the bathroom and my fathers room, so when I heard the news, I went pass his room and all i´ve heard was "She is gone, my love" again and again filled with pain. And now, 2 years ago, dad died unexpectedly in his sleep. I worked for him for a lot of years and never got a traditional paycheck, I got what ever I wanted but never money, always material, because it was cheaper for him. And now he left, leaving me to deal with a psychotic new wife, now widow, debts and more. But the light at the end, is that he left me so mentally broken I count as a mentally handicapped person so I can get my mom´s pension, so some hope but still the wounds are deep inbedded and it will never leave me.

Lost my baby brother a day before my 5th birthday. Lost my dad at 13. Just walked away from the only family I knew after years of pyscho-emotional abuse. Makes sense, dad was the only one I could relate to. When he died, I was turned inside out. Brought up to be “God fearing”, but when he died …I hated God with the highest intensity. Being bullied in school and feeling like an abomination at home… I saw red. That kind of betrayal can only inspire that kind of rage. The chorus for lll hit home “I salt the earth in crimson blaze. The world will burn in my fall from grace. Witness the death of God …hear the Devil’s choir.. As I leave the stage, in a sea of fire.” When I heard this, it brought me back that raw and vulnerable time. Nothing else came close to it. As an artist, and as a human being …this was extraordinary and a privilege to witness. As you said, it’s truly a masterpiece. Even though he’s gone, he always wanted to do things he never got to do when he was younger. So I took that mantle and ran with it. He taught me and my brother “Mind over matter” and always pursue what we wanted in life and to do it right. Work hard and act with integrity. ..and to never fear death. Because it’s a waste of time as he said. We all go through it. He believed that if it’s not our time, it’s not our time. But, when it is.. there’s nothing in this world or the next that will stop it. “A wrinkle in time.. take what is left of my life before you go show me what it’s like to finally know A face behind the silhouette In a world I made to be infinite But within the expanse I finally see.. A world without you isn’t meant for me.” This hits us all uniquely. Nevertheless, it’s real. Pain Remains

Still watching but re: use of swear words: A family friend once taught me growing up that it is okay to swear so long as you learn *when* to. That notion carries into music all the more when words - cursing or otherwise - are carefully chosen to add emphasis or context. Over-use of any word can remove the significance and impact. The same concept translates to music itself - and one thing that a number of people have noted when first being introduced to heavier music, like To The Hellfire. If *everything* is heavy then nothing stands out. This becomes a bit more apparent in heavy music as a breakdown only hits as hard as the build up. If everything is balls-to-the-wall and a breakdown happens then you'd barely notice it. The building of suspense/tension/etc., the drop of certain elements (or dropping everything and utilizing silence even), are what makes a breakdown effective or not. Blahblahlblah. Rambling tangent of thoughts about use and context that stems from your comments in the video. Great reaction! I really enjoyed how you found a video that also included the lyrics. Being able to understand (or read) the lyrics is important to getting the full experience of these songs. Visuals and music go a long way but adding the element of what is being said make it truly all come together.

Thanks so much for your kind words! I completely agree by the way with the swearing (I recorded this before RU-vid relaxed its rules on swearing), but having grown up in a household that never swears and then entered a world where I now swear like a trooper, I'm overly conscious of turning the swearing on and off in my mind when I'm with people I don't know (in this case the public). Your rambling tangent of thoughts though is 100% spot on, and how I see much of the world in fact!
