At the "desperate break" part, I heard "humans are desperate" xD

To me it sound like "We're off to(unintelligible) like the fears of our best friend"

What’s it about

That's the basic premise. Can be watched in its entirety in 2.5 hours. Despite this, the characters are very complex, throws in a good amount of comedy, and becomes darker and more cryptic as the series advances.

sadly no one would. That series was able to avoid showing gore but was still super dark. Now days 'dark' means 'lots of gore and violence, with little to no plot"
