SPEECHLESS! | Sleep Token - Take Me Back To Eden (REACTION/REVIEW) 

These two represent the 2 different spectrums of music listeners. The guy is allowing the music to envelop him and has an experience because he is emotionally vested in the music. The girl just doesn't resonate deeply with music so all the emotions and nuances just fall flat for her. Most Sleep Token fans I know vibe and let the album take them on an emotional journey and if you aren't willing to open yourself up to that, you likely won't get nor enjoy ST.

This album has just solidified how much of an emotionally broken man I am. The lines "My, my those eyes like fire" and "no amount of love will keep it around if we don't choose it" immediately throw me into a whirlwind of her memory. Never has a band evoked so much emotion from me. Worship

After reading a bunch of comments reacting negatively to the "cringe" comment you have to understand that you are the ones jumping around from reaction video to reaction video looking for like-minded opinions. When you see someone that doesn't particularly enjoy this, that is their right. Trust me, the comment stung me a little too because nobody wants to be told that a band they really resonate with did something that could be found repellent. Just take it on the chin and move on. We aren't entitled to strictly positive reactions. Also, at 6:25 I feel like you are thinking of DYWTYLM chorus.

Bruh..this song bangs HARD

This song almost feels like a conclusion in a story. Taking different aspects and lyrics from other songs in the album and wrapping it in an epic way

The birds chirping is from Chokehold intro, it happens multiple times in the song. I am personally a fan of the length, I think the song is executed very well. There is a lot more BASS in this album, both mids and lows and so many elements that add to the art of vessel's lyrics sprinkled in. Right before he goes into the chorus "My my those eyes like fire" there is like a creature sound, I kind of think of like a monster lurking in the water. I also was transported back to vore where the intro has like chewing on flesh sound for like first 10s. Details are immaculate.

She is a huge fan of ST, except the rapping bits, the heavy bits, the screaming bits, the slow bits, the ambient bits, the parts with guitars drums and vocals. But the masks are cool.

Its funny to me that you mentioned this would be a hard song to get into Sleep Token and this was the song that pulled me in 😂 I stumbled upon the stripped back vocals of "my my those eyes like fire. I'm a winged insect your a funeral pyre" and I love ambient music so I went what the FUCK and ran to spotify. Then I just fell deeper and deeper. The atmospheric ambiance and gorgeous lyrics hooked me. Vessel writes absolutely gorgeous melodies and his lyricism is fucking bonkers.

I think it’s unfortunate that for a reaction channel / video - the female was so aloof, snotty and off putting. She immediately closed off to any sound that was not to her pre-conceived notion of what this song should sound like. She labeled the stylistic transition as ‘cringe’ the moment the singer tried something different - and looked utterly revolted before he’d even completed a bar. While it is understandable that we enter into the music hemisphere with sonic preferences and certain things can be confronting, I think it’s important when experiencing new music to at least give things a chance before we label them as embarrassing. And calling it “boring” because it was more than 3 or 4 minutes is beyond ignorant. Do better. That said. yes - ‘it was no accident’ is a refrain from chokehold. I loved that the male made that lyrical connection at the same moment I did on first hearing this. I literally said “wait - what’s this from?! this is from another song!!” out loud at the same moment.

What a album this is! So many good songs! I see your gf getting some hate for the 'cringe' comment and while I think the rhymes and bars actually go kinda hard, i also dont really like it at the same time lol. Other than that section, this song is a 9/10 for me. That ending is fucking demonic.

All y’all being rude to this woman when music is one of the most subjective forms of media in the world. Not everybody has to like what you listen to. I can guarantee all of the people that made a negative comment towards her (FOR HER OPINION) has said something similar, or in the same vain, as she did about music that you don’t like. She’s also not wrong when she feels that TMBTE is slow. It’s an 8 minute song for crying out loud. It is slow, and to anyone that’s not an avid Worshiper will feel the same way. It’s a reaction channel after all and she gave her honest feedback. Do better.
